Hara Factory Build RC10 Brian Kinwald Edition

While we have become used to weekly RC10 ‘Special Edition’ releases from Team Associated, with the upcoming Team Associated Vintage Championships is Las Vegas, RC Legend Atsushi Hara has built his very own ‘Hara Purple’ Brian Kinwald Edition for the race. In recent years the onroad and offroad World Champion, who is now a brand ambassador for Team Cayote, has leveraged his ‘Hara Purple’ with a number of product deals and limited edition kit releases. Along with his Yeah Racing Momentum signature tool series, the Japanese driver has endorsed Hara Edition Touring Car kits with Australian touring car manufacturer RC Maker and Hong Kong’s RC Xpress to coincide with representing these brands at legendary TITC race in Bangkok, Thailand. He also raced a Schumacher Mi9 at the 2025 Electric Singapore International Challenge (eSIC) which had received the ‘Hara Edition’ treatment. This is all possible as Hara has a friend in the anodising industry who is able to get his trademark purple done on very limited numbers of parts. The 2026 Team Associated Vintage Championships takes place from September 2-7th at the The Orleans Hotel and Casino.

Yokomo RS2.0 Touring Car Kit with Alu Short Shock Conversion

Originally launched as their first entry level 1:10 Electric Touring car back in 2023, Yokomo is now offering the latest RS2.0 of its Rookie Speed platform with with an Aluminium Short Shock Conversion. The Japanese manufacturer has added this light tune-up edition pre-equipped with front and rear 3.5mm-thick graphite shock towers and the aluminium short shock conversion. Compared to standard plastic shocks, high-precision aluminium cylinders absorb both sudden inputs and fine vibrations to maximise tire grip. This gives smoother, more stable cornering and prevents traction loss during heavy braking or tight turns. The 3.5mm-thick graphite shock towers securely hold the shock absorbers in place, maximising spring and damper performance to give you precise, responsive handling. Powered by a responsive dual-belt drive system, the latest RS2.0 chassis caters to everyone from touring car beginners stepping up their game to seasoned experts looking for a race-ready setup.

Leadfinger Racing ‘MaxSpec-20’ Vortex Touring Car Wing

Best known for their offroad bodies, US body shell producer Leadfinger Racing has announced the release of the all-new ‘MaxSpec-20’ High-Downforce Compliance Wing engineered specifically for the Avalon Vortex 1:10 Touring Car body. They developed the wing to unlock the full performance potential of the Avalon Vortex body without risking a tech failure. Instead of forcing racers to trim away performance, the MaxSpec-20 utilises a custom-engineered lowered pocket geometry which drops the baseline mounting plane 6mm lower on the body’s pedestals, neutralising the tilt and pulling the trailing edge safely below the roofline. Extended Pocket Reach mean the mounting channels are lengthened to 20mm–22mm, cleanly clearing internal body reinforcement ribs for a flush, rigid fit. Maximum allowable downforce is achieved by lowering the baseline deck height, racers can run a true ’20mm tall chord profile’ while remaining 100% compliant with roofline height restrictions. 100% ROAR/ IFMAR compliant, the ‘MaxSpec-20’ comes as set of two wings.

MIP Gen 2 1/4″ Turnbuckle Wrench

Renowned US tool manufacturer MIP has added this 1/4″ Turnbuckle Wrench to its Gen 2 tools range. Featuring a slim-profile design, it is specifically engineered to provide better access in tight spaces while giving you a precision fit. Its precision-machined steel construction, with ±.001″ manufacturing tolerances, is Laser-engraved with size marking as well as having a colour-coded identification ring. This new addition to the Gen 2 lline-up is especially useful for working on the MIP Legend 4-10 Kit and vintage Team Associated RC10 platforms, providing the precision and access needed for the 1/4″ hardware and turnbuckles found on these iconic vehicles.

Avid RC B7 MachLite Idler Gear

New from Avid Racing Concepts comes the MachLite Idler Gear for the Team Associated RC10B7 Buggy. It has been produced for stock and spec racers for whom every gram counts when it comes to the drivetrain. They have lightened the design and narrowed the gear face from 10mm to just 6mm. The result is a 3.34 gram gear that is 24% lighter than the kit gear with less rotating mass and inertia for quicker drivetrain response. They also machined it perfectly true to give you smooth and consistent rotation and the larger 54T design means there is still plenty of strength for Modified racing.

Factory Team RC10B7 Caged Thrust Bearing Slipper Conversion | 3-pad Slipper Hubs

Under its Factory Team option parts & accessories line, the Team Associated has released this caged thrust bearing slipper conversion and 3-pad slipper hubs for the RC10B7 1:10 2WD Buggy. The caged thrust slipper greatly reduces the chances of your slipper nut loosening over the course of your run. The 3-pad slipper is more consistent as well due to its better heat dissipation over the traditional 2-pad system. Using the bigger diameter spring adapters allows everything to fit properly due to the spring having a shorter length and the three slipper hubs taking up more space than the typical two slipper hubs

Xray GTX 1 Dot 3mm Carbon Steering Block Plates

Having updated their 1:8 GT platform in May for the first time since the 2024 model, Xray has added this 1 Dot 3mm Carbon Steering Block Plate as a tuning option for the GTX. The revised ackermann geometry allows maximum steering angle and is designed to increase steering angle of the outside wheel, generating increased overall steering. The more linear steering characteristic provides more aggressive steering and improved front-end response.

Hudy 1:10 Pan Car Alu Tweak Set-Up Wheels

Adding to its world famous set-up system range, Hudy has introduced these Aluminium set-up wheels designed for precise and repeatable tweak adjustment on 1:10 Pan Car chassis. The rigid aluminium construction eliminates inaccuracies caused by rubber or foam tires, allowing accurate chassis balance checks. Foam tyres used on pan cars can vary significantly in diameter after each run, making reliable tweak measurement difficult. Aluminium set-up wheels eliminate these inconsistencies and allow precise chassis balance checks. With a 61.7mm diameter and featuring a machined in wheel weight, each wheel is CNC-machined to exact tolerances and perfectly matched within the set for maximum setup precision.
