K-Factory ultra-lightweight servo mounting screws

HRC Distribution have introduced the K-Factory ultra-lightweight aluminium servo mounting screws. Made from aircraft-grade 7075 alloy the fasteners are of a special design with a collar right under the head that fits snugly in most servo case mounting lugs, greatly reducing the change of the servo moving in the event of a crash. The screws do away with the need for additional washers and thus make for easy and convenient building and maintenance. The screws are usable with most 1/10th and 1/8th vehicles, they come in packs of six and are available now.

RDRP B6-series electronic chassis plate

Coming from Revolution Design Racing Products and made for the Team Associated B6-series of buggies is an aluminium chassis insert called electronic chassis plate. The part was designed to be a drop fit for the chassis’ machined pocket behind the steering servo and using it allows to easily remove the speed controller and receiver from the car for cleaning and maintenance purposes. 0.75mm thick and weighing in at only 7g the plate hardly adds any additional weight to the car meaning the buggy’s weight bias remains pretty much the same compared to thicker alloy or even brass parts. The machined pocket also keeps the electronics such as speed controller and receiver very low in the chassis for a low overall centre of gravity. The mounting plate fits both the B6 and B6D, it comes including suitable mounting hardware and in blue or black anodising.

Fenix DFV2 5.5T & 8.5T brushless motors

Fenix have introduced two new brushless motors out of their DFV2 range with the 5.5T and 8.5T modified windings complementing the already existing variants. Built to meet EFRA, ROAR and IFMAR specifications the motors feature balanced 12.5mm high-torque rotors, premium-grade Neodymium magnets, Kawasaki steel stator plates and 99.9 percent pure Copper windings. All this is housed in CNC-machined cans that feature heatsinks and endplate venting for maximum cooling. Both windings variants are available now.

Shepherd 18 & 12-piece ceramic diff ball sets

Shepherd have introduced two new ceramic diff ball sets containing high-quality 3.175mm balls. Made for the company’s Velox F1 formula car the diff balls also fit a range of other brands and they will improve the overall performance of the differential as the balls are both super true and hard-wearing when maintained properly. The balls are available as 18 and 12-piece sets.

Trinity Equalizer 21.5T tamper-proof Spec racing motor

Trinity have introduced the 21.5T Equalizer tamper-proof spec racing brushless motor. Already available as 17.5T variant the motor features purple paint on the front taps and collector and it is built using an easily identifiable rotor meaning manipulations are easy to recognise. Beside the 21.5T and 17.5T windings the Equalizer motor will also become available as 13.5T variant.

DKT RC8B3 high roll centre front suspension mounts

Coming from DKT and made for the Team Associated RC8B3 are front arm A and B mounts in high roll centre specification. Developed with the help of Italian frontrunner and newly-crowned Neo Race Nitro Buggy champion, Davide Ongaro the parts are machined from aircraft-grade aluminium and they come black anodised for wear and looks. The mounts are available separately or as combo set including both the A and B hangers.

Arrowmax pinion caddy & 64 pitch gears set

Coming from Arrowmax is the new pinion caddy and 64 pitch pinion gears combo set. As for the caddy, the item is machined from high-quality aluminium and it sports Arrowmax’ signature honeycomb design and black/golden colours. The pinion holder can take up to 28 gears with the 64 pitch pinion combo set including eleven 38T to 48T gears – ideal for many stock racing classes. The caddy and gear combo set is available now.

Losi Mini 8ight DB 1/14 4WD RTR buggy

Losi have introduced their new Mini 8ight DB 1/14th scale 4WD RTR buggy. Based off of the iconic Mini 8ight, the vehicle utilises a shaft-driven 4WD chassis with alloy main plate, metal gear differentials, full ball bearings and 48 pitch gears. A realistic bodyshell and grippy all-terrain tyres on multi-spoke rims as well as a large rear wing make the buggy stand out while granting mud-shredding performance. The vehicle is powered by a Dynamite 3800kv brushless power system that is good for speeds of over 45km/h with an optional 3S LiPo battery. Also included in the package are a Spektrum STX2 transmitter and a SRX200 2-channel waterproof receiver. The Mini 8ight DB comes in two bodyshell colour variants and it will hit stores in early June.
