Xtreme Aerodynamics are delighted to announce the signing of former World and European Champion Robert Pietsch. The Mugen on-road designer will run the Xtreme line of bodies in both the 1/10th 200mm class and in the 1/8th class and will also have a key role in the design and development of new products.

The organisers of the AKA GP have been in touch to tell us about the event which will take place from Saturday the 28th to Monday the 30th of May at HNMC track in the UK, home of last year’s European B Championship. The event is open to Nitro buggy and truggy as well as eBuggy and will run a controlled tire, AKA Catapult for buggy and any AKA tire for truggy. Entry is open and can be made here and all entries received a free set of AKA Catapult tires and a free t-shirt.
Xray continue to release multiple material option parts for the XB2 Dirt Edition with the introduction of these composite rear roll-centre holders. The medium hardness versions are suitable for very-low to low-medium traction tracks while the hard versions suit low-medium to medium-high traction tracks.

Vigor RC have released these two tweak plates for the Yokomo BD7 and Xray T4 touring cars. Made from 5mm thick high quality acrylic, they have been designed to have the same chassis plate outline as the car its for. Works as any normal tweak plate does, it comes with a carry case to protect it while being transported or stored.
Bezerk RC introduce these carbon towers for the Xray XB2 Dirt Edition. The front tower features standard geometry, but has increased material for crash protection and is made from 4.0mm glossy carbon fibre for added strength. The rear tower also features standard geometry and aims to be stronger thanks to the 4.0mm carbon fibre.
Montech have introduced their new 190mm touring car body, the IS-200. Positioned in their line-up between the Evo and the Silvy, the new body works great on asphalt giving excellent turn-in while being very stable and carrying lots of speed through the corners. Made from 0.7mm thick high quality polycarbonate it comes supplied with wing & mounting bolts as well as window masks and decals.

After making the decision to incorporate the changes, I was almost a permanent fixture behind the computer… trying to put all the changes from the 3 different concepts into one car. This was very tricky & demanding, as I had to throw away a significant amount of the work done beforehand, and even still I was constantly running into conflicts and problems. After a huge amount of time & effort spent on this, I finally finished and was very pleased with the outcome. I uploaded all the manufacturing programs to the production server, and Production started to work on the 20 pieces of the cars for the team. While working on the team cars, we sadly informed distributors that the RX8 would be delayed for the 2015 season. This was not very welcome news.

Jeric comes with decades of experience within the Industry, having spent the last three years at his own firm following 12 years with Horizon Hobby. Bill is widely recognised as former leader of the Losi and Team Losi Racing brands, and most recently as the founder of Tuning Haus. Tuning Haus will become an exclusive product line of HRP, and Jeric plans to continue developing products, strengthening existing relationships and exploring new opportunities for HRP through his network of contacts within the industry.
