Wild Turbo Fan Mad Max 3D fan mount

Wild Turbo Fan Mad Max 3D fan mount

New from Wild Turbo Fan and Mad Max Products comes the Mad Max 3D fan mount. Different from conventional fan mounts with only a small contact area, the unique 3D design allows a much stronger connection to the motor using a custom made carbon fibre cross brace and an aluminium stopper. This fan mount is usable with 30mm to 40mm fans including WTF’s Windy fan and will fit the Awesomatix touring car and most belt driven cars. The design allows to take of the fan using only one screw after initial assembly and the mount is of a very low weight at only 5.8g. Included with the mount comes all needed hardware as well as two different carbon mounting brackets.

Arrowmax 1/8″ differential ball sets

Arrowmax 1/8" differential ball sets

Arrowmax have three different 12-piece sets of 1/8″ differential balls available. Coming as standard steel, carbide and ceramic variants, the sets are usable in a wide range of applications with the steel balls being a direct replacement for many kit diff balls. The carbide balls are an ideal upgrade for everyone looking for a bit more performance and a smoother working diff while the ceramic variant marks the top-of-the-foodchain solution. Using ceramic balls in combination with keyed diff rings makes for the smoothest possible diff action but using these type of balls requires a more frequent maintenance and some experience in adjusting ball differentials.

Smokem 416-IIX carbon fibre chassis

Smokem 416-IIX carbon fibre chassis

Smokem Racing has answered the call of many TRF416 racers by releasing an “IIX” chassis for Tamiya’s venerable TRF416. At the heart of the 416-IIX is a proprietary 2.0mm thick “Pro-Weave” 100 percent carbon fiber construction – which is stiffer than conventional weave but softer than a quasi weave. As seen on the company’s 418-IIX and BD7-IIX chassis, this unique construction is married to a flowing contoured design for increased flex and a lowered centre of gravity. This combination delivers increased corner speed over a wide range of track conditions and temperatures. High speed steering and transitional response are also improved with the 416-IIX design. The 416-IIX chassis also features mounting holes for Smokem’s 417CTR servo mount to further enhance the flex characteristics of the chassis and to bring the TRF416 fully up to speed with other modern tourer designs.
