Panther introduce the Ocelot, a 1/10th buggy rear tyre with an array of small and dense squared pins for high forward traction and a consistent side bite feel. Designed for both indoor and outdoor tracks the tread will excel in dusty to loamy conditions and is therefore available in Panther’s full range of compounds from medium soft to super soft including a special clay rubber for indoor tracks.

French company RB introduce their updated nitro fuel range that is now mixed using the latest generation lubricants and additives for improved performance and reduced friction within the engine. The new viscosity optimises fuel consumption and improves the reliability at high pressures and temperatures. RB also did away with the orange colourant the fuel was known for to avoid any efficiency decreasing residue. The updated fuel is available in several 16% and 25% pre-running, buggy and on-road variants with a 30% buggy fuel being available also.

Shepherd announce that top Italian racer Marco Vanni joins their team for the 2014 season. After finishing second at the Trofeo Picco in Fiorano at the end of last year and finishing in 5th place at the recent Winter Nationals in Fort Myers, Marco decided to run the 2014 season with the German-based squad. Planning to race the full Italian championship, the European championship, two ENS races and some selected international races he will be a great ambassador for Shepherd. Marco had the following to say:

Italian company WRC now have this 2014 conversion kit for the ’13 spec touring car available. It includes a new carbon fibre main chassis, updated battery locators, new split-design FR and RF hinge pin mounts as well as updated steering rail mounting brackets.

Powerstar soon have the PM-1207LV low-profile servo available. Coming in an all-alloy case the standard voltage servo offers a speed of up to 0.074s/60° and a torque of 12kg-cm – both at 6.0V input. OFNA presents the X3-GT 1/8th 4WD nitro on-road kit. Based around a sturdy, hard-anodised aluminium chassis with 2-diff drivetrain and 2-speed gearbox the vehicle also features low-profile aluminium shock towers and shocks, a 1-piece radio tray for easy servicing and maintenance, as well as a .28 recoil starter nitro engine with a tuned pipe for added performance. Exotek have first option parts for the Serpent SRX-2 buggy available in the form of aluminium servo mounts and a carbon fibre battery strap. First up are the servo mounting brackets, machined from high quality aluminium the parts come in Serpent orange or glossy gun metal finish and replace the stock plastic mounts with a more rigid and cooler looking alternative. Also new is the Flite LiPo battery strap for the rear motor SRX-2. Weighting in at only 4.8g the carbon fibre part is not only over 5g lighter than the stock part but it also gives added clearance allowing to run the battery in a more forward position while mounting the speedo behind the battery for improved balance. The brace is usable with stock or aftermarket thumb screws.
