LRP have new option parts for the S8 1/8th off-road platform available in the form of three aluminium suspension mounts. Coming as FR, RF and RR variant the suspension hangers are CNC-machined from aluminium, come blue anodised and make for a more precise and durable location of the lower wishbones. The parts fit the S8 Rebel, S8 BX, S8 BXe and S8 TX.

New from RB comes the Blast V17 .21 nitro off-road engine. The limited edition 5-port engine features RB’s dual bypass multi exhaust system, a lightened and bi-balanced 14mm turbo crankshaft with silicone insert and a lightweight piston with a durable competition conrod. The lightweight low-profile cooling head is coupled to a Turbo combustion camber insert and the composite carburettor is equipped with a 7mm venture insert. The engine is build around a strong crankcase with high speed bearings and available separately or as combo set including an in-line exhaust system.

Novak now offers a silver solder and flux combo for convenient solder jobs. The lead-free rosin-core solder contains 3 percent silver for high conductivity, low resistance and strong solder joints at a relatively low melting point. It comes in a 3 metre roll stored in a transparent container to prevent unrolling. Included comes also Novak’s Pro Solder Flux liquid that is ideal for the above solder and all other high temperature, lead-free solder. The fast wicking action of the flux makes for quick and easy solder joints with perfect results when using stubborn lead-free solders. It comes in a 10ml bottle with easy-to-apply dropper tip.

Exotek introduce the M10 spoked 1/10th rims for 24mm touring car tyres. Made from a special nylon formulation the fibre-free rims offer ideal flex characteristics for both asphalt and carpet racing. Protoform is introducing another aerodynamic option for Dirt Oval Late Model racing, the Cyclone 10.0. Measuring 10″ wide, the body is a full half an inch wider than its predecessor, making it a good fit for rubber tyre and loose dirt track racing. It can also be an option for Nitro Late Models and 4WD classes as well. The Cyclone 10.0 incorporates all the latest aerodynamic tricks from the full-scale racers, made to fit all popular dirt oval late model chassis. From the offset front fenders and skewed rear ¼ panels to the rooftop vortex generators, the Cyclone is built for speed, downforce and side bite. The Cyclone 10.0 is fully approved by the DirtOval.com National Rulebook and comes with a pre-cut and pre-drilled spoiler kit complete with end plates and hardware. Alpha presents the new Ryan Lutz Worlds Edition .21 buggy engine. Based in the experience gained with the Lutz Edition motor Alpha have updated several integral parts such as the crankshaft that now features a stronger crankpin for better durability as well as brass weight insert that lies underneath the silicone filling for a perfectly balanced crankshaft. Also new is the conrod that received an update in terms of the material used for added reliability while the crankcase has several sections with increased material strength, again or durability reasons. Included with the engine come different venturi inserts and a suitable glowplug.

Team C Racing now have this ride height gauge for 1/10th and 1/12th on-road cars available. The step-less gauge measures the ground clearance from 1mm up to 8mm in 0.2mm increments. The machined aluminium part comes black anodised and with white markings.

Zen Racing introduce the Zen-RS conversion kit that has been developed to offer the 1/12th racer a wider tuning window and a more neutral balance in all grip conditions. A revised pivot location helps the car to have a stable balance and the new chassis layout incorporates a bellcrank steering system. The bellcrank offers a true Ackerman effect, removes all bump steer if required and the new servo placement makes for a better balanced chassis layout. The battery location is adjustable with the pack being held in position by two LiPo braces which can be moved forwards and backwards in three fixed locations. Also included is the Zen adjustable rear pod and a set of front and rear ride height shims making for a perfectly stable race platform. Servo posts, centre shock mount and rear posts are also included in the conversion with a final update in the form of a diff thrust bearing. The thrust bearing and spacer take away the side load from the outer diff ball race offering better consistency and diff action under high loads. To complete the conversion an R5 based front end, side links, rear pivot and side spring set-up, AE centre and side shock, body posts and rear axle are needed.
