Xray Challenge Grand Final – Announcement

Xray have been in touch to invite racers to the grand final of the European Xray Challenge. The race will take place at the weekend of the 5th of May at the Hudy Racing Arena in a total of six different classes including stock, super stock and modified touring cars, 1/10th nitro touring, F1 and GT pan cars. In the touring classes only Xray touring cars are allowed to run with the tires being hand-out tires supplied by the organizers. Click here to find all details.

Adrian Berntsen joins Mon-Tech Racing

Italian bodyshell manufacturer Mon-Tech Racing announce the signing of Scandinavian front runner Adrian Berntsen. The Xray factory driver will join Yokomo’s Yannic Prümper who signed with the Italian company in February.

Corally HMX US Carpet Spec kit

Available now is Corally’s new HMX US Carpet Spec touring car kit. The updated variant is specially designed for US style carpet tracks and includes two SGX gear differentials, silver anodised 7075-T6 aluminium steering block with ball bearings, 6 degree nylon C-hubs, red anodised aluminium servo posts and X-Hard graphite 2.4mm chassis and top deck parts.

Marc Rheinard joins Roche

Roche Products International announce the signing of three times ISTC World Champion Marc Rheinard. Marc will use Roche products in the coming race season and will also assist with research and development. The first products out of a new MR..Roche line will hit the stores in March. Roche would also take the opportunity and thank Marc Rheinard, Toni Rheinard, all team drivers and customers for their valuable support.

Brown Engineering Rhino pan car

Brown Engineering introduce the Rhino mini-size pan car. The Robitronic Scalpel conversion features a flex plate technology that controls the side to side movement by using different thickness plates. Included with the kit comes a BMI pivot, wide motor mount that accepts a wide range of motors and also an angled servo mount. The chassis plate is designed to make use of singled cells, saddle or straight LiPo packs.

Marc Fischer joins Hobbywing

Hobbywing have announced the signing of German Serpent team driver Marc Fischer as another addition to their growing team of international drivers. The Snowbirds 1/12th Champion has been a front runner in the international racing scene for years and brings a vast amount of knowledge to the team. He will be using Hobbywing’s latest V3.1 controller in all his rides. This is what Marc has to say about the deal:

Yaiba Racing B4.2 aluminium option parts

We reported about the Yaiba Racing option parts for the Team Associated B4.2 buggy before and now the Japanese company released some pictures of a fully hopped-up example. Part of the Yaiba Racing line up of option parts is an aluminum front hinge pin brace, servo mount, rear camber plate, alloy battery mount thumb screws, as well as several damper parts such as lower shock caps and spring preload nuts. All parts are CNC-machined from high quality aluminium, come red anodized and most of them are laser-etched with Yaiba Racing logos. The parts not only fit the B4.2 but all Associated-based conversion kits also.

Xray XB4 anti-roll bars

Xray introduce new optional anti-roll bar wires in several diameters in order to fine-tune the handling characteristic of the buggy. Available from 1.0mm to 1.8mm the bars are made from heat-treated spring steel wire and come with laser-etched size markings for easy identification. Both the front and rear anti-roll bar are interchangeable so there is no specific front or rear wire.
