New from Nosram comes the 5700mAh 80C X-Treme LiPo battery pack. The standard length 2S hardcase battery is build from high capacity 80C peak cells, is 3C chargeable and comes in a transparent hardcase with 4mm bullet type connectors and 2mm balancer port. The battery is ideal for power-hungry applications such as Stock and Modified touring cars and off-road buggies.

PSM introduce three new option parts for the Mugen MBX7 buggy in the form of a front and rear shock tower and an Ackermann steering plate. Starting with the shock towers the front part is machined from 5mm carbon fibre while the rear tower is made from 4mm material. Both sport the stock geometry, weight 19g and 25g respectively and the rear damper stay also comes with additional camber link positions for added adjustably. Also new is the 3mm carbon fibre Ackermann steering plate. Cut from a special glossy fibre material such as used on the shock towers, the part weights only 3g, sports a high torsional stiffness and is a direct replacement for the stock part.

Vampire Racing is proud to announce the latest addition to their factory racing team in the form of UK super star and 1/8th EFRA IC buggy European Champion Darren Bloomfield. VBC Racing introduce the FF Twelve belt-driven front wheel drive car. The kit features a 2.5mm carbon fibre chassis with 2.0mm upper deck, 3.5mm shock mounts and improved chassis flex for improved corner speed, traction and stability. It also features the innovative belt drive transmission with 2.4375 internal ratio, 7075-T6 hard coated belt pulleys and repositioned motor mount. The transmission case is designed to also hold Tamiya FF03 gear internals while the aluminium front bumper support allows for better motor cooling due to an airflow design. Other features include a floating servo mount, dual bellcrank aluminium steering system, hard compound suspension components, high-quality aluminium suspension mounts and shocks, front and rear anti-roll bars, aluminium turnbuckles and full rubber sealed bearings.

Team Orion announce that current IFMAR 2WD and 4WD 1/10 Electric Off-Road World Champion Ryan Cavalieri has made the move to use Team Orion’s Vortex R10 and R8 Pro ESC’s beginning March 1st. Cavalieri has been a valuable asset to Team Orion over the past seven consecutive years using their Vortex motors, nitro engines, LiPo batteries and chargers. Now with the addition of the Vortex R10 and R8 Pro ESC’s, Ryan has completed the entire product line with Team Orion. Ryan added:

Reckward Tuning from Germany now have a 3mm carbon fibre upper steering plate for the Mugen MBX7 buggy available. The option part replaces the kit’s plastic plate, weights only 6.9g and comes including machined conical washers for a hassle-free installation.

Exotek Racing introduce the compact battery strap for the 210 series buggies and trucks from Team Durango. The strap is of an extra lightweight but heavy duty design and fits both the DIMEC and alloy chassis and is useable with standard and shorty LiPo packs.
