Robitronic have extended their line of Expert chargers by the LD16z and LD108z. The Expert LD 16z features an intelligent charging circuit enabling the unit to simultaneously detect even multiple errors like a broken cell, user error etc. and hence provide safe charging. Featuring a built-in AC adapter the charger is usable with 11-18V and 110-240V, incorporates a cell balancer for LiPo batteries, different charge and discharge programs and comes including power and several charging adapter wires.
S-Workz have introduced their new SST tool series. Featuring high quality hardened tips and a lightweight ergonomic handle for ease of use, they come in a wide range of sizes. Hex wrenches come in 1.5mm to 2.5mm, with the 2.0mm & 2.5mm also available in ball versions. There is also a flat head screwdriver, a 4.0mm & 6.0mm Philips driver, a 5.5mm & 7.0mm socket driver as well as a spring/caster clip hook tool.

Team Durango have released some new option parts for the DNX408 to tune performance and make your ‘408 stand out from the crowd. First up are these aluminium turnbuckles which offer lower weight when compared to the standard steel part. Anodized gold they also add style to your model, when fitted they offer a massive 62% weight saving over the original components. Available in several lengths. Next up is this fuel tank lid puller set that is designed to improve access to the fuel tank during a pit stop. This part fits to the lid on your fuel tank and allows quick and easy opening ensuring quick and trouble free pit stops. It contains 4 pullers plus the screws required to mount them. Team Durango clutch springs are now available in different thicknesses (0.7mm, 0.8mm, 0.9mm & 1.0mm) allowing you to tune your clutch. The vented shock cap allows air to move in and out of the area above the shock diaphragm offering more consistent damping, especially on rough terrain. Aluminium pivot balls offer lower weight when compared to the standard steel part giving a 60% weight saving over the original. Finally these aluminium suspension arm bushings once again offer weight savings of 69% when compared to the standard steel parts.

The 54th installment in the Xray column from Xray owner and chief designer Juraj Hudy is now online. In this months column, Juraj talks about his extensive pre event testing schedule ahead of the busy summer of European Championships.
I tested some new prototypes of front and rear braces, but after a few tests I returned to the original ones. Martin and Ales were spending most of the time testing and comparing different tires to adapt to the changed track conditions which was now completely different from last week‘s tests.

Xceed have released their large trolley bag. Similar to others currently on the market, it features 5 drawers made from hard wearing corrugated plastic. The bag itself features a telescopic handle and rubber wheels for easy transportation, while it has been styled in black and dark grey with green highlights and features the Xceed logo embroidered in multiple locations.

TOP racing have released a new range of merchandising in the form of 2 new t-shirts, a hooded sweater and hat. The TOP t-shirt and sweater both sport a new Dragon motif and come in black and red respectively, while completing the series for TOP is a new black cap. TOP’s tire brand Solaris also get some threads with the release of a nice looking red shirt with white stripe design down the left side.

Agama USA have announced that Jason Branham has joined their growing team. Jason has been consistently rising to the top in the pro 1/8th buggy class in the United States and his recent accolades include a championship win in the 2010 R/C Pro Series in Pro 1/8th buggy, an A main appearance at the Dirt Nitro Challenge in the Pro Buggy Class and a recent podium finish at the Futaba Nitro Challenge last month. Jason had this to say about the deal:
