This latest generation 5500mAh 60C 3.7V battery has extra low resistance to keep higher voltage for the complete run and comes fitted inside a secure hard case. Sweep Racing have released their new Closed Cell 1:8 truggy inserts. Based on the original industry standard closed cell foam insert, the new grooved insert is designed to take advantage of the radial ribs inside the carcass of the Exagon tires to ensure no air gaps and perfect balance. The inserts are now available with their line of truggy tires as well as in their line of pre glued truggy tires/wheels.

Exotek Racing have produced this F1 truing arbor set for Tamiya F103 and F104 wheels. Polished and anodized, it has been precision machined from 6160 billet with an alloy steel steel main shaft. Knurled grips and a secure clamp locking system ensure the wheel, either front or rear, stays in place. Designed to work with any foam tire truer that has an 8mm shaft such as those made by Hudy, Ofna, Corally or Integy.

Xceed have released a complete range of 1/10 scale F103 foam tires. Available in both carpet and tarmac versions, the former uses a special type of foam which offers superb traction combined with most commonly used tyres traction fluids, while the latter feature an outside ring made of normal foam such as that used for 1/8 or 1/10, while the inside ring is the same rubber as they use for 1/12. Both types are available in soft, medium and hard and fit all popular brands of 1/10 F1 electric cars.

Continuing with the driver signing news, HB and HPI have announced that 1/8th buggy Worlds A-Finalist and consistent front runner Jesse Robbers has extended his contract with HB. He will continue to partner Ty Tessmann and Atsushi Hara in the factory squad and will run the D8 Hara Edition buggy and D8T truggy. Jesse had this to say about his new contract:
