Vega Elite 2WD race conversions

Just released, the new series of Vega Elite 2WD race conversions for most major top-end race buggies, including the pictured Kyosho Ultima RB5 SP2. Featuring a CNC machined aerospace 7075 alloy tub chassis & gearbox, motor plate heat sink, rear shock tower, bodyshell and more, this new conversion changes the weight distribution of the car, allowing it to jump more level & massively helps in-air control and powered landings. Testing has shown the conversion gives a new more positive feel to the car, allowing for a more aggressive driving style. Flatter jumps, quicker landings and better cornering is bringing noticeably faster and consistent lap times.

Developed in Japan according to the new IFMAR regulations for this class, it features neutral handling with lots of downforce and great stability thanks to the side dams. EFRA homologated (#31523), it is available in normal and light versions.

MIP C-CVD kits to feature Snap Ring

MIP have announce that all C-CVD kits for 1/10 & SC vehicles have a new upgrade. In their quest to keep MIP products updated, all MIP C-CVD kits will start coming with the MIP Snap Ring combined with set screw lock that ensures no failure due to lost drive pins. This is a running upgrade so there are no changes in part numbers or prices on these kits.

Having introduced their own line of high performance offroad engines, Xceed have today announced their line of onroad engine. Featuring the highest level of manufacturing quality, Swiss made bearings, superb metals they are available in .12 and .21 versions. The ZX-12 3P-DS4 is a 3 port turbo .12 engine with 6.5mm carburetor and lightweight cooling head, while the 3P-DS4 EM is also a 3 port turbo engine, but this Edoardo Modified version features a selected ABC set and aligned conrod, tear dropping work on the sleeve, a lightweight crankshaft with silicone and a lightweight cooling head. For 1/8th onroad the ZX-21 7P-DS4 is a 7 port turbo engine with a 9mm carburetor, split type lightweight cooling head with 3-finned combustion chamber. The ZX-21 7P-DS4 EM is the Edoardo Modified version of the same engine selected ABC set and aligned conrod, tear dropping work on the sleeve, a lightweight crankshaft with silicone and split type light cooling head with 3-finned combustion chamber. All engines can be purchased separately or as a Powerpack with polished inline tuned pipe-system.
