New for the Serpent 733 1/10th scale 200mm chassis is this solid front axle. A combination of strong spring steel axle with an aluminium pulley flange, both the steel axle and the aluminium part have been lightened as much as possible. A nice tuning option, the same pulley from the front differential can also used for this spool.

Reedy have announced that their 4600mAh 3.7V LiPo battery is now approved for competition by the BRCA (British Radio Car Association). Already listed on the BRCA website, the battery is legal for the 2009 racing season and beyond.

Coming soon from Italian company Capricorn RC are these new NT1 brake pads. Featuring a special red brake pad material, they offer a smoother braking performance than the standard kit versions. Team Xray have announced that Eric Dankel has joined their team for the 2009/2010 season. The 1/10th scale Vice European B Champion and Indoor Electric Stock National Champion will run the company’s NT1 chassis in next years German Nationals, as well as the European and World Championships. Eric had the following to say about the deal:
I race Xray because the quality and performance of the car are unbeatable, and at all events the team cooperates perfectly together. In 2010 I will participate at German Nationals, EC and WC and of course at all Nationals. During the winter I will keep racing with the electric touring car.
