ST Racing Concepts 17mm hex conversion kit

ST Racing Concepts have released this new 17mm hex conversion kit that allows Associated SC10 short course truck owners to put on high-traction 1/8th scale buggy tires for increased performance and wider range of tire selection. Each piece of 17mm hex adapters is machined out of high-quality aluminium, and using a unique set-screw behind drive pin design, you’ll never have to worry about loosing a drive pin. The rear 17mm hex are offset slightly wider to provide the SC10 truck with more stability in the rear. Available in Blue, Red and Silver.

Team Azarashi Fantas buggy front wing

Team Azarashi have released their Fantas buggy front wing. Designed for use with various 2WD buggies such as the AE B4 and Kyosho Ultima RB5, it allows the steering feel to be adjusted by changing the cutting line of the unique nose part and the gurney flap. For sharp steering at corner entry, cut out the bottom half of the nose, while for high speed stability, leave the bottom half of the nose. Expected to be finalised by the beginning of September.

Duratrax LiPo Sports packs

Duratrax have released new 1600mAh and 1800mAh LiPo sport packs. The 1600mAh version comes with Traxxas plugs which are designed for the E-Revo VXL and Slash VXL. Racers can connect two packs in the series for maximum power and speed, or parallel for longer run times. Also available is a version with a mini plug for use with DuraTrax 1/18 scale models as well as many other mini vehicles, and the 1800mAh version that comes with 3.5mm female bullets and a hard case which is required by ROAR and other race-governing bodies.

Team Checkpoint 7.4V 5000mAh LiPo pack

Designed for competition racing, Team Checkpoint have released these 7.4V LiPo hard case racing car packs. Featuring factory-matched cells inside a hard case that meets ROAR specifications, these racing packs are wired for “balancing” and can include either a Dean’s Ultra Female plug or 4mm female bullets. Available in early September.

Sanwa SDX-901 high torque servo

Sanwa have released their SDX-901, a new extremely strong and high torque servo for car applications. Weighing in at 66 grams, it takes 0.10 seconds to travel 40 degrees and can handle 29kg per cm, both rates measured at 6.0V.
