Amped Up RC 2s Balance Charge Leads

Following Donathen RC’s launch of its Amped Up RC range of off the shelve cables, they have released the first 3 products, 2s Balance Charge Leads.  These leads are designed by DRC using DRC proportions, DRC connectors, 10 awg wire, and adhesive heat shrink.  Each lead is fully protected with black sheathing covering all wires, increasing the protection, and lifespan of the lead.  This sheathing can easily slide around with regular heat shrink, that is why we offer these leads with dual wall adhesive heat shrink. Not only does the adhesive heat shrink keep the sheathing in place, it adds durability, sturdiness, and molds to the connection providing the best protection available.  To start, Amped Up RC is offering 3 balance leads, 5mm bullet connectors, Xt90 connectors, and Qs8 connectors 24″ long made with 10 awg wire.  A unique feature of these leads is that they can be used with any charger that uses a JST-Xh balance housing.

Ruddog supports Red RC 1:10 Offroad Worlds coverage

In just three weeks time the first wheels will be turning at the 2023 IFMAR 1:10 Offroad World Championships and Red RC is excited to announce we have teamed up with Ruddog Racing to bring our readers full trackside coverage from Arizona.   Having been at Yatabe Arena in Japan in 2015 to witness both Spencer Rivkin and Bruno Coelho claim their first World Championship titles, we are super excited to be travelling to Hobby Action RC Raceway to see if either driver can defend their title and become 3-time Champions.  After waiting an extra year for the 19th running of the race that decides the greatest prize any driver will achieve, the anticipation of the battles between the best racers in the World and the unearthing of the sport’s next generation of racing talents is higher than ever.  The first of four World Championships Red RC will attend this year our coverage from Arizona is being supported by Ruddog.  Founded in 2006 by Sven Rudig, himself an avid offroad racer, Ruddog is steeped in offroad racing history being a distributor for 31 times World Champion manufacturer Team Associated and iconic offroad tyre brand JConcepts to name but a few.  In addition, they have developed their own product ranges such as Ruddog Racing, a new line of electronics offered by the German company that already has a European Championship title to its credit in touring car.  Revolution Design Racing Products has established itself as a designer & producer of high-quality tuning parts and are popular upgrades among offroad racers.  Red RC’s trackside coverage of the 1:10 Offroad World Championship will kick off on September 10th with the start of the 4WD action and conclude on September 16th when 2WD Champion is decided.

Roche Rapide P10W3

Having announced their latest 235mm Competition Pro10 kit in recent days, World Championship winning 1:12 manufacturer Roche has released more details & images of the Rapide P10W3.  The kit has 12 new features over it predecessor including a new design 2.5mm high grade hard graphite materials for main chassis and wider lower pod plate.  It also gets a newly designed dual upper deck and easy change battery holder.  Other key changes include new 7075 aluminium front upper & lower bulkhead and newly designed 7075 aluminium lower axle position motor mount and rear left bulkhead.

CEN Racing 1:8 RTR 2023 M-Sport Ford Puma Rally1

After 2 years of work and collaboration with motorsport engineering company M-Sport, CEN Racing has announced its WRC M-Sport Ford Puma Rally1 1:8 4WD RTR.  The highly detailed replica of the World Rally Championship contender run by the British team features an 100A ESC from Hobbywing and is waterproof and dustproof for all weather.  Running 2-3S Li-po or 6-9 Cell Ni-Mh batteries,  a sensorless CEN Racing High Performance 3658 3000KV motor provides drive to the full time 4WD driver train while the steering is operated by 12Kg metal gear servo from Savox.  Based on a 3mm alu chassis, the car features front and rear 3mm Aluminium Shock Towers, Aluminium Arm Brace, full precision ball bearing support, front skid plate with durable foam bumper, an injection-molded Rear Diffuser and Easy Access Battery Tray.

Yokomo SO2.0 2WD Buggy

Yokomo has released details of its latest 1:10 2WD Competition buggy, the SO2.0.  The World Championship winning Japanese manufacturer has given the latest kit 13mm big bore shock for more than 10% more capacity than before for improve performance.  It achieves both high stability and response, and draws a smooth turn arc.  New steering block makes it easy to match the regulations with new design making it possible to change the tread width by installing it inside out. Normally, the wide tread meets the race regulations, but if you use a wheel with a deep offset, you can clear the regulation by turning the steering block upside down and narrowing the axle position.  An aluminium plate is installed under the servo to adjust the weight and rigidity of the front.  You can change the effectiveness of the steering according to the road surface conditions.  In addition, the mechanical tray, which was previously made of resin, has also been changed to steel, contributing to a lower centre of gravity and improved traction.  Another feature of the SO2.0 that Yokomo has added are the front and rear wings with increased downforce and the low-profile body control aerodynamics, contributing to stability at high speeds and posture control during jumps.
