Team Magic E4 touring car

Team Magic E4 touring car

You may remember a long time ago that Team Magic announced that they were going to enter the electric touring car market with, what was at the time and still is, a rather unconventional looking car. Well that car has been seen testing recently, in preparation for its pending release and from what we can see it retains the same 3 belt layout but has a number of changes from the prototype we saw previously, such as the upper bracket and changes to the front of the car, perhaps to make it simpler. The car retains its central battery mount, similar to the Losi JRX-S Type R, and has been kept extremely low which is one of the things i did really like about the car. Release date is not yet known, but the car in the pictures appears to have production parts on it, so expect it soon.

Branham wins US Monster truck Champs

Branham wins US Monster Truck Nats

Xray are reporting on their site from last weekends US Monster truck Championships that were run on the Johnny Cool Guy Raceway in Euless, Texas. Team driver Rocco Margiotta reports on the race:

After a bad start for both Jason and I, Jason put the petal down and pulled away from me and within a couple minutes was battling with McCrary and Battaile for the top spot. The top three guys, including Jason and Mike would switch spots very frequently throughout the rest of the race, until Battaile (running Losi) broke which let McCrary and Branham take off with me in third. McCrary and Branham would swap places a few more times for the rest of the race until Jason pulled away slightly at the end of the race, which resulted in an all XT8 podium!
