Xray have today unveiled the 2023 edition of their 1:12 platform, the X12. The All-new chassis features extra forward position for centre pivot for improved cornering speed and steering response. It also features extra mounting position for the side braces between the front and centre position for extra fine tuning of the car flex which improves steering response and cornering speed. The ’23 chassis is shortened by 3.5mm in front with extra chamfer, which eliminates chassis dragging and improves cornering speed. It now has 4 positions for the front battery backstop in 2mm steps instead of the groove to prevent the battery stop from moving in hard crashes. The rear POD plate features redesigned area of the alu POD plate pivot holder for improved durability of the POD plate. It features 2 centring holes instead of 1 to eliminate tweak issues in crashes. The bulkheads has been completely redesigned to achieve maximum low CG and weight to improve stability and eliminate tweaking issues in serious crashes and are 5mm lower and 4g lighter compared to the previous version.  In total the car features 24 new improvements.

Yokomo Racing Performer BL-RPX3 Competition

Yokomo has announced the arrival of its new flagship Racing Performer BL-RPX3 Competition Speed Controller. The RPX3 surpasses the performance of the previous and well established RPX speed controller. While maintaining the power to reach maximum RPM instantly, Yokomo say the throttle feel has been optimised by smoothing out the RPM rise range, adding controllable characteristics that prevent breakdowns even when power is increased. An auto mode that changes boost in accordance with throttle opening is also included, enabling high-boost driving with a linear image. The boost value can now be increased to a maximum of 75, whereas in the past the upper limit was 60, and instantaneous power has reached a realm far beyond the imagination. A system to change the program in conjunction with a smartphone application is also under development and due for release as soon as it is ready.

Reds 721 Superveloce Pro Silver Edition

Reds Racing has released a new Ultra Tuned version of 721 Superveloce (Superfast) Pro 3.5cc off-road engine. This tuned engine is a limited edition of only 300 units all around the World. This is the same engine used by Reds Factory Team at the 2022 IFMAR Worlds in Redovan together with our new 2113 X-One pipe. Reds’ main goal was to develop a faster engine compared to the Superveloce which is able to guarantee good fuel mileage. Thanks to the special modification to the sleeve and crankshaft we managed to make it even faster than the Superveloce and at the same time drivable. Furthermore, the combination with the new 2113 X-One pipe allowed them to create this new monster tuned engine. This engine is suitable for tracks where a more powerful unit will give you an advantage. The Superveloce is a classic 3.5cc 7 ports engine, a feature that has now become REDS Racing trademark, it can be used for both 1/8 buggy and truggy. Thanks to the AirBoost backplate and Extra Tuning by Mario Rossi the new engine has an extremely linear power delivery, which makes it super powerful but at the same time drivable.

Avid Ringer Bullet Plug Grips

Avid Racing Concepts have released these Ringer Bullet Plug Grips. Bullet grips have been around for a few years now and Avid figured it was time for them to put their take on these handy parts. First, they ergonomically shaped them to allow for a bit more grip when pulling them out. With a preference for the full stealth look, they did both of the grips in black with positive (+) and negative (-) laser etched on the base of each and included black and red shrink tubing that you can add to your wire for immediate notification. Last but not least they added their Ringer design to these by adding 5 silver highlight rings, one of which is inside the grip which makes these items sparkle like no other.

Protoform Ford Mustang GT body

Protoform is bringing some American Muscle styling to the popular ARRMA Felony 6S platform with the release of the 2021 Ford Mustang GT body. What better way for Blue Fans to deck out their street-basher than with the legendary Ford Mustang nameplate? PF has combined the signature wide-mouth grille, hood scoops, and powerful stance of the 1:1 6th-Gen S550 Mustang with some pro-touring tuner style fender flares to transform the look of your car. Included is a sculpted rear wing to complete the super-scale look. The bodyshell is formed from durable 1.5mm thick high-quality polycarbonate with paint-then-peel overspray film, and it also includes a detailed decal sheet and wing mounting hardware. This body was designed with wider rear fenders as a direct fit for the Felony to clear the 53/107 tires. It will work with Infraction rear tires, but to get the optimal look and fit, you can optionally choose to either widen the rear of your Infraction™ chassis with stock rear tires or use Felony rear tires with modifications to the rear gear ratio.
