Electric Touring Car newcomer Iris Racing has released the first in a line of upcoming optional parts for its ONE competition car. The Iris Open Washers have been developed to improve adjustability on the Iris ONE, making camber and caster/wheelbase adjustments faster, while still maintaining its crash-proof design. Available in three different thicknesses, 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0mm, they offer all the adjustability you need.

PDX RC Underground has announced it will be hosting the inaugural Hobbywing Stock Spec Nationals. The unique event will see all classes use handout Hobbywing Justock fixed timing motors. The brainchild of this event, and the owner of PDX Underground Kevin Focht explains, “We started running 17.5 spec at the track, and I was thinking that there has never been a national event where everyone was running a handout motor. The thought of having everyone going the same speed intrigued me, and I thought it would be a true racers event. I immediately hit up Hobbywing, and they were excitedly on board!” There will only be 4 classes for the event – 17.5 Buggy, 13.5 4wd Buggy, 13.5 Stadium Truck and 13.5 Short Course Truck. All will be using handout Hobbywing Justock motors. Esc’s will be blinky and all other ROAR rules apply. Entries will be limited due to the hand out motors. PDX RC Underground are excited to announce that 4 time World Champion Ryan Cavalieri will be attending and racing the event.
Italian tyre manufacturer Hotrace Tyres has announced that Dominic Greiner has joined their factory team. Widely regarded as one of nitro onroad racing’s fastest drivers, the former World Champion and reigning double European Champion joins Nicola Marrone’s company after a long stint with rival Italian brand Matrix Racing Tires. The German will contest a number of open tyre events in 2023 to represent Hotrace products and it is expected that he will represent Marrone’s latest venture, Lens Bodies, as they release their first 1:8 and 1:10 Onroad bodyshells into the market.

Sunpadow has announced that the SIGP International RC Car Grand Prix will be resumed in 2023. The Sunpadow International Grand Prix (SIGP) event had established itself as one of the leading annual international RC event and attracted many of the sports top drivers. World Champion Bruno Coelho was the winner of the onroad edition in 2019 while in 2018 Ryan Lutz won the Offroad edition and a year earlier Joern Nuemann took the win from Atsushi Hara. While actual race dates are still to be finalised Offroad is expected to be held in August, along with on-road in In October or November. Taking place at the 2017 Electric Offroad Championship venue in Xiamen, the SIGP will continue to offer one of the biggest prize as before with the total bonus for the two series as high as $ 70,000. West Coast R/C Works has released the 30mm and 40mm Motor Cooling Shroud Pro, which are updated versions of their Fan Shroud Cooling Series for 30mm and 40mm fans respectively. These fan shrouds sport an overhauled air flow design to optimise motor cooling. The fan mounting has been updated with m3 threaded brass inserts, which provide a hard-to-strip thread in this 3D printed part.
Specialists in wet weather racing with their much lauded rain tyres, Kiss Tyres has a new air filter system to keep your onroad nitro engine running in wet conditions. Suitable for 1:10 & 1:8, this rain filter protects the engine against the ingress of water when it rains. The inside of the filter consists of a fine, rustproof metal mesh while outside it is covered with a rubber sleeve. The connection to the carburetor is also made with a suitable rubber sleeve. The original INSBox filter can be replaced with this rain filter which can be easily attached to the carburetor.
Famed Swiss wet tyre producer Kiss Rain Tyres has introduced a new soft compound variant of their 1:8 Onroad tyres. The first version if the Evo14 tyre ran at 25 shore with the new ‘soft’ version has a shore of 15. Providing a high amount of water displacement in the wet, the tyres are build using Kiss’ own core material and Pit Shimizu’s proven D01J tyre for the outer tread.

Top international touring car driver Viktor Wilck has announced he will no longer be representing Arrowmax and Dash RC in 2023. The multiple World Championship podium finisher has worked with both companies since his days as a factory Serpent driver, both brands being part of the same company that took over the, originally Dutch, pioneering RC manufacturer. Now racing as part of the factory Infinity team, the Swede said, “I would like to say thank you to everybody at Arrowmax and Dash for this last 7-years. We had many success together, highlights as the two times IFMAR world championship podium and numerous wins on international and national races. Special thanks to Mr. Lau and Wing Lau. Always giving me the best quality products to compete and also sharing many good memories together at races. I wish everybody at Arrowmax and Dash good luck for the future.”
