Surpass Hobby Thunder 540 drift car motors

Surpass Hobby have released their line of Thunder 540 Sensored Brushless motors for drift car. The motor comes with pre mounted quick disconnect and plug-in connectors, which makes it quick and convenient to remove and replace the motor. More efficient internals and special can design mean that the high power output temperatures are reduced by 5% compared to the previous generation. The stator is made of 0.2mm silicon steel sheet, with an efficiency conversion rate of 94% and super oversized front bearing give high load carrying capacity and reduced resistance for a more smooth and durable motor. Available in 3 different colours, black, red and purple.

Ruddog Racing RNX22.3 offroad competition engine

Never resting on their success, the engineers behind the Ruddog RNX21.3 nitro engine have revised the engine in several crucial areas to provide customers with an even more reliable, economic and powerful package. The RNX22.3 features a new backplate, combined with proven ceramic bearings. While retaining basic features such as DLC coating and tungsten balancing weights, the crankshaft was redesigned to increase reactivity. Together with the new revised 3-port sleeve to improve air flow in both the boost and exhaust sections and offers more torque throughout the engine’s wide power band. The updated carburettor ensures smooth and economic operation and, as before, temperatures are held in check by a full-size gold anodised cooling head.

Serpent Medius X20 ‘23 EP touring car

Serpent have introduced their latest, and they claim best, EP touring car yet, the X20 ‘23. New and improved suspension front and rear geometry help improve the car’s rotation. Featuring a beautifully engineered aluminium rear diff, along with a completely newly designed rear upper arm link setup provides increased adjustability. New shocks are also included with a larger 13mm bypass system. The Serpent X20 ‘23 is more adjustable, more refined and gives more performance.

JConcepts Mini-T 2.0 & B Fin titanium turnbuckle set

JConcepts have produced a titanium Fin turnbuckle set for the Losi Mini-T 2.0 & Mini-B. The base of the design is centered around a 4mm titanium hex size which gradually tapers down into a 2.5mm thread base design which accepts the standard Losi Mini-T and Mini-B ball-cup configuration. The focus of the styling surrounds the lengthened adjustment hex area and the ‘finned’ cut that rotate about the centre. The turnbuckles are lightweight, and the original ‘Fin’ design brings out the glamour and quality that makes titanium one of the most sought-after exotic materials in the world. The JConcepts turnbuckles are produced with left- and right-hand threads for ease of adjustment. The #2975 has another feature, a black colouring which gives the stealthiest look in the pits and on the track.

Avid neoprene anti-slip pit mat

Avid’s new pit mat is 120x60cm and is made from a 2mm thin lightweight neoprene material. It features a rubber anti-slip backing and includes a white nylon traveling bag. This soft pit mat looks great and is easy to roll up making it great for travel.

Infinity 1/8th wheel reamer

Creation Model have released this Infinity wheel reamer to widen the hole diameter of 1/8 GP racing car wheels to the optimal size (12mm). If the wheel and axle shaft are too tight, it can cause problems such as not being able to install the wheel correctly or not being able to change tires efficiently during pit stops. This wheel reamer is used by threading it through the hole in the wheel while turning it.

Rêve D 7-spoke JD7 wheels

Rêve D introduce their sharp looking 7-spoke JD7 wheel to their competition wheel series, which is popular for its light weight and high traction. There are two colours available, matte black and matte white and a new 8mm offset is also available, which has received many requests in addition to the conventional 6mm. This new design maintains the highest performance criteria of light weight, about 11g per piece, and high traction, all with a large inner diameter & thin rim.
