Kyosho Inferno MP11 1:8 Buggy

Following the showing of a ‘Prototype’ Inferno MP11 at the recent 25th anniversary of the Kyosho Masters, the Japanese manufacturer has released official images of their new 1:8 Buggy kit offering.  The first full model change since the MP10 launched in January 2019, while continuous updates have kept the MP10 updated, the MP11 takes a leap forward with an all-new design.  Key changes include a newly developed main chassis, revised suspension and drivetrain systems, and an all-new body — all engineered for elite racing performance.  One of the most significant changes is the revised front/rear weight distribution. With a more front-biased balance compared to the MP10, the MP11 delivers remarkably smooth handling that reduces driver stress.  Coupled with optimised suspension geometry, the MP11 also achieves higher cornering speeds.  The range of adjustable settings has been greatly expanded, and workability has been significantly improved — critical advantages for adapting to different track sizes and surfaces around the world.  The MP11 also debuts a completely redesigned body and a new rear wing with matching wing stays, offering high-level aerodynamic performance perfectly tuned to the chassis.

Roche Rapide P12V2 Graphite Main Chassis Set

Roche has released a new optional Graphite Main Chassis Set for their Rapide P12V2 1:12 race kit that includes a matching carbon fibre chassis and aluminium battery tray.  The new chassis is designed to work with a new 2.5mm aluminium battery tray with Roche recommending it for low to medium traction outdoor asphalt tracks, or low traction carpet tracks.  The chassis is produced from high grade graphite with a CNC machined chamfer edge on rear side to reduce chassis scrubbing in high speed corners.  Also new for the P12V2 is +2 Graphite Rear Pod Link Brace.  Increasing toe-in angle of the side link, it provides more in-corner steering and speed.

LRP Flow X Weight Options

German electronics brand LRP has introduced new weight case options for its Flow X ESC.  Allowing you to fine tune your Flow X for maximum traction, ultra-lightweight setup or the lowest possible centre of gravity, there are three weight options in the form of a Brass Bottom Case, Plastic Bottom Case, and LCG Lightweight Aluminium Top Case.  With the Brass Bottom Case you can increase the weight in a smart and integrated way.  With the LCG Lightweight Aluminium Top Case you can reduce the weight of your Flow X and get the Lowest Center of Gravity, as a fan is often not needed with the Flow X.  With a combination of the LCG Lightweight Aluminium Top Case and the Plastic Bottom Case you can minimise the weight of your Flow X.

CRC M-200R World GT-R Chassis Kit

Iconic American pancar chassis manufacturer CRC has released its new World GT-R car, the M-200R.  A new car platform was a project that started over a year ago, the M-200R is a MetriCks based World GT-R car meaning it uses all-metric hardware and is for 200 mm wide racing on rubber tyres, hence the name M-200R.  In the front, the M-200R features CRC’s Ultra-tune suspension.  Just change the lower C/C plate (caster/camber plate) and your caster and camber are perfectly set.  A “4 -1” plate gives you 4 degrees caster and -1 camber. Switch to the 5 -.5 plate and you have 5 caster and negative .5 degrees of camber.  Go smash a bunch of barriers, and your caster + camber settings are still the same.  They have a wide range of different combinations available.  With a simple and quick change of the C/C plate (caster/camber), you can set caster and camber with precision and ease.  No setup station, no guessing, no fiddling – perfect camber and caster is machined into the pieces.

1up Racing 7075 Tenfold Wing Screw

1up Racing has reintroduced its 7075 Tenfold On-Road Wing Screws with an extended offering of colour options.  Back in 2019, the accessories brand set out to make the best looking wing mounting screws available, while cutting weight and sustaining durability.  The original Tenfolds quickly became fan favourites and now 1up are pleased to offer them in a line of 10 anodised colour options.  Machined from 7075-T6 Alloy, the pair comes in at only .66 grams, reducing weight at the highest point of the car to preserve that precious low CG. They feature an oversize 16mm outer diameter for maximum security even with extremely thin wings.  The 1.5mm hex for installation keep profile super low while offering superior strength.  M3 x 6mm threads allow easy installation on most all of today’s popular bodies, and they work perfectly with the RC Maker HRP Body Mounts as well.
