Kato sets early pace at Philippine Masters

Infinity’s Kouki Kato has set the pace in the opening round of seeding practice at the Philippine Masters, the Japanese driver fastest by a decent margin over 2-consecutive laps of this year’s more technical Manila track layout. The second round of the Cayote backed Asian Buggy Championships, Kato was the winner of last season’s championship finale in Indonesia but this weekend marks his first trip to the legendary Philippines race and it was another of the race’s first timers, Mugen Seiki’s Burak Kilic, who was his closest rival 7/10ths of a second back with the rest of the Top 5 covered by just 2/10ths. The first of the three seeding rounds that make up Thursday schedule would see Team Associated’s reigning World Champion Davide Ongaro complete the Top 3 ahead of team-mate Alex Bernadzik with Italy’s Mattia Polito fifth as the leading Sworkz driver.

LRP WorksTeam V2 Fan Mesh and Fan Mount

LRP has released new versions of its WorksTeam Fan Mesh and Fan Mount for use with 40mm fans. The V2 Aluminium Safety Mesh includes mounting hardware and is compatible with 40mm fans. The mesh protects the fan, increases stability by reinforcing it and adds a cool look. The unique centre needle design eliminates axial movement of the fan wheel for improved reliability. The unique mesh design provides additional ventilation from the site for maximum cooling. The WorksTeam aluminium fan mount is securely tightened to the motor using a high strength screw. You can mount up to two fans for efficient cooling. Compared to its predecessor, the V2 comes with a new design for improved specifications with reduced thickness in chassis and drivetrain area that enables installation versatility in 1:8 models. Fenix Racing G56.2 Optional Front End

Italy’s Fenix Racing has released a new optional front end for its G56.2 Pro10 chassis. More rigid than the kit standard front end, it offers a more constant and reliable feelings in the high speed turns. The set comes with Gr.5 Titanium turnbuckles and kingpin, and all the necessary hardware.

Yeah Racing Set-up Station Tray | Droop Gauge

Yeah Racing has added to its Momentum Series of tools with the release of both an Atsushi Hara Limited Edition Setup Station Tray and V2 Round Droop Gauge. Both made from 7075 Aluminium and detailed with Hara’s distinctive purple trademark colour, the Setup Station Tray allows you to neatly organise your pit space with tailored slots for the Momentum Series Tweak wheel, Setup System V2, and Droop Gauge V2. The new Round Droop Gauge V2 allows you to accurately measure downstop from the bottom of the arm or the wheel axle to bottom of chassis distance with the included two wheel discs. The whole set mounts securely into one small package through securing the droop blocks to the wheel discs.

Power HD welcomes Chinese rising star Chau

Leading servo manufacturer Power HD has announced the signing of rising Chinese offroad racer Eric Chau. With a decade of hard-charging experience in the Asian offroad buggy racing scene he is a multiple A-main racer at regional and national events as well as the International SIGP held in Xiamen in December. For 2025 the young ace will race both domestic and international races including the upcoming Philippine Masters, armed with high-torque GTS-6 and S35-V2 servos. On the news he will officially join Team PowerHD, the Sparko driver said, “I’m stoked to join the PowerHD family! Huge thanks to Mr. Ye and Team Power HD for putting their trust in me. Team Associated RC8B4.1 Davide Ongaro Kit

He’s a driver who needs no introduction and now his chassis sponsors Team Associated is offering a Davide Ongaro kit of their RC8B4.1 1:8 Nitro Buggy. Ongaro won a third consecutive IFMAR 1:8 Buggy World Championship in Redovan, Spain, last year and the new kit features a number of the Italian’s favourite option parts include some from his own ONG range. These are all based on the new RC8B4.1 FWB chassis and side guards with tapered chassis design for increased stiffness. A limited edition release, it is exclusively sold from Team Associated directly.

MonTech GR-10 LMH 1:12 body

Mon-tech Racing continues with the expansion of its range of LMH class bodies for 1:12 Pan Cars with the release of the GR-10. Based on the Toyota’s LeMans Sportscar, which the Italian company previously released for 1:10 use last year, the smaller incarnation is designed for the most demanding enthusiasts, combining style, detail, and performance. The kit includes headlight and grille decals, window masks for painting, and screws for rear wing mounting.
