CS-Electronic Competition Power Discharger 200W

CS-Electronic from Germany have introduced their new 200W Competition Power Discharger device for the use in combination with the recently announced Space X3-Competition Duo charger. The discharger allows for discharge currents of up to 16A while offering balance discharging and single cell voltage monitoring, ensuring safe and secure discharging using high currents. The results will help to identify weak packs but the discharger also allows to bring fully charged packs to storage voltage a lot faster than just using the charger’s discharge function.

RC Maker T4’20 GeoCarbon bumper plate with stopper

RC Maker have introduced their new GeoCarbon front bumper plate with stopper for the Xray T4’20 touring car. The plate and stopper feature a stylish, stealthly and innovative design and the parts add extra protection to the front of the car as the support contacts the bulkheads and prevents impacts from snapping the main chassis and are very important. The design integrates the stopper under the main bumper plate, lining up with the bearing mounts on the front bulkheads. In the event of a crash, the force will be transferred through this and keep the chassis in tact, with minimal effect on the bulkheads. The brace recesses over the small bumper posts enabling it to get low enough to align with the bulkhead. When tightening the upper plate, it clamps the whole assembly down tightly. Upon resting, there is a 0.2mm gap between the bulkheads and this support, to prevent any rubbing and tweaking. The bumper plate also features three sets of holes, allowing drivers to adjust the bodyshell forwards and backwards as seen on the standard plates. The integrated stopper does not move, it will be in the same place regardless of the body post position. Due to the design, the plate can also stay in place when removing the front anti-roll bar.

ARC R8.2LCG 1/8th on-road car kit

Coming soon from ARC is their new R8.2LCG on-road car kit. The car uses the proven R8.2 as a base, however the LCG variant features a 2mm lower upper-deck and engine height with the lower centre gravity makes handling much easier, more precise and predictable while countering traction rolling in super high grip track conditions. Originally developed and tested by Stefano and Jonathan Gandin, the LCG kit will be ARC’s go-to offering for the 2020 season. The R8.2LCG also includes a new separated rear low arm bulkhead for increased flex of the whole area and thus improved traction and corner exit stability. While being a full kit ARC also offers a R8.2LCG conversion kit for the standard R8.2 that includes the chassis, front bulkhead, centre bulkheads steering servo saver, LCG engine mounts as well as the separated rear lower mount.
