Coming soon from ARC is the 2.4 FDR upgrade kit for the R8.0 to R8.2 1/8th scale on-road kits. The set helps to convert the FDR from the original 2.3 (20/46T) to 2.4 (20/48T), which will result in increased acceleration and torque. The set includes a 24T front pulley, a 48T rear pulley, and a 204-8mm rear belt.

MST have announced the re-release of their popular MS-01D ready-to-run drift car. Discontinued for about three years, the 4WD front-mid motor chassis now again makes an appearance, decked out with MST’s own JZ3 and EG6 body shells. The car features an independent multi-link type double A-arm suspension, front diff and rear spool 4WD drivetrain, fluid-filled shock absorbers and a moulded chassis with an air duct system for efficient cooling of the brushed motor. Includes in the set also come a waterproof Hobbywing speed controller and a Futaba steering servo. The JZ3 and EG6 bodies are available in different colours in gluing red, blue, black and white.

Made for the Team Associated B74 4WD buggy is Avid’s new -2mm carbon fibre rear shock tower. The shock stay is made from 100 percent carbon fibre and designed to limit the shock up travel to keep the dogbone from hitting the outdrives. The tower is machined from 4.0mm thick material, it maintains the stock shock angles and it has two small drill holes under the centre hole of the wing mount for notification.

Coming from JConcepts and made for the Team Associated B74 buggy are new carbon fibre and titanium optionals. Starting with the carbon fibre parts, new are front and rear shock towers that are of a ribbed and chamfered design. The 4mm thickness, genuine carbon fibre material is durable, lightweight and features the JConcepts milled sections which help maintain strength while minimising weight. The three standard B74 shock positions remain for quick and steady adjustments in the correct position for the front and rear shock geometry. The towers feature the JConcepts treatment of ribbed sections and chamfered edges on the surface of the race-proven material. The towers are complete and designed to accept the stock mounting hardware.
JConcepts have introduced their popular Ellipse 2.2” buggy rear tyre in silver compound. The Ellipse, named after the centre bar built into the tread, is a compliment to successful tyres such as the Dirt Webs and Space Bars. The “Web” style tyre was built to compete on smooth high-grip indoor and outdoor surfaces which require a finely detailed connected bar pattern. The centre section of the tyre is a home run utilising a diamond “home plate” footprint to provide massive forward bite and increased longevity. The web of extensions are unique and have a directional touch giving the racer the ultimate tune-ability. Schumacher have introduced their new Mi7 electric touring car kit. A state of the art, brand new ground-up design the car was developed by racers for racers and it is suitable for the use on asphalt and carpet tracks, and for both modified and stock class racing. The 2019 BRCA Championship winning car was designed as a genuine mid motor car and it features a double wishbone suspension for increased suspension rigidity, and reduced play. It retains the ability to adjust suspension geometry, wheelbase, caster, camber, roll centre, Ackermann, droop, anti-dive, anti-squat, front and rear toe in/out, ride height and much more while its ultra-low centre of gravity enables faster corner speeds than ever before. Reds Racing have introduced the new M7 WCX Pro Tuned 3.5cc 1/8th on-road engine. Considered to be the company’s top of the food chain on-road engine, the power plant was developed over the course of a year with input of team drivers and distributors. The engine has been specifically developed for people looking for the same speed and specs as used by Pro Factory Team drivers and so the WCX Pro Tuned is based on M7 WCX engine with additional hand-made finishing touches to the sleeve and crankshaft in order to obtain improved fluid dynamics efficiency while the modified timing ensures even greater power output. The engine is totally hand-inspected and tuned by Mario Rossi himself and will become available very soon.
