US company Panther introduce the Ocelot 1/8th buggy tyre as well as their all-new Z-series rubber compound. The Ocelot tread is made up from numerous small-size square pins with outer angled blocks for smoother cornering. The tyre is meant to perform very well on most outdoor tracks and is available in the new Z-series rubber compound that offers extended wear characteristics compared to Panther’s standard rubber.

Panther introduce the Rattler blue groove tread for the stadium truck class by announcing the ST Rattler tyre. Designed for hard packed “blue groove” tracks the tread pattern makes for both forward and side bite with the tyre being available in Panther’s super soft to medium soft standard as well as “blue” firm clay and standard clay rubber.

Panther tires have released these T157 MT38 Series Gator tires which are designed to fit Losi 8ight T wheels as well as other 38 series wheels. Sold in both soft and medium soft compounds, they weigh in at 122g each and are 2.5″ wide and 5.5″ in diameter.

We just received a mail from our friends at Horizon Hobby UK, formerly Helger Racing, saying that have started to import the Panther range of tyres into the UK. The name Panther may not be totally familiar to Off road racers in the UK but the products will be. Panther have been manufacturing tyres for both on and off road since 1985, originally all the tyres where produced for Kit manufactures and other aftermarket tyre suppliers under there own brands.
