Leading servo manufacturer Power HD has released this new B8-RS servo intended for 1:10 car use. The B8-RS was fine-tuned in collaboration with top 1:10 onroad and electric buggy pro drivers. All engineered for ultra-lightweight setups, low current draw, massive torque and razor-sharp response at a friendlier price point. Weighing just 55 grams and featuring an 18 cm black servo lead and steel gears, it supports high-speed protocols on all major radios including Noble NB4+ Pro (NOR / SR / SFR), Futaba (NOR / SR / UR) and Sanwa (NOR / SHR / SSR / SUR / SXR). It is programmable via Power HD PG-CB63 servo program box.

Servo manufacturer Power HD has announced the availability of direct mount top-cases for their popular high end GTS-2 & S15 servos. The cases allow you to upgrade your existing servo without replacing the entire unit. The Power HD Optional Top Case allows direct mounting to a variety of chassis, enhancing performance and stability. Continuing with their support of home grown RC talent, Chinese servo manufacturer Power HD has announced the signing of Nitro Offroad rising talent Sun Ran. The 21-year-old, who is a multiple race winner in Asia, has made great progress in recent years as a result of practicing more diligently on a variety of tracks. The Kyosho driver will use high-performance brushless servo S35-V2 and GTS-6 to compete in various domestic races and on the announcement said, ‘Sun Ran said, ‘Massive thanks to Power HD for the support and trust, I am honoured to join Team Power HD! Leading servo manufacturer Power HD has announced the signing of rising Chinese offroad racer Eric Chau. With a decade of hard-charging experience in the Asian offroad buggy racing scene he is a multiple A-main racer at regional and national events as well as the International SIGP held in Xiamen in December. For 2025 the young ace will race both domestic and international races including the upcoming Philippine Masters, armed with high-torque GTS-6 and S35-V2 servos. On the news he will officially join Team PowerHD, the Sparko driver said, “I’m stoked to join the PowerHD family! Huge thanks to Mr. Ye and Team Power HD for putting their trust in me. Power HD has released two new HV brushless servos, the S35-V2 and T60-BHV, which are designed for competition spec 1:8 Buggy and 1:8 GT use. The S35-V2 is an extended model of S35 servo and offers ultra-responsive speed and high torque output. The bottom case features a widened heatsink design, improving heat dissipation to handle hot summer condition and ensuring the servo’s operation. The T60-BHV is an extended model of T50-BHV servo and caters to diverse user preferences in 1:8 Truggy setups, maintaining robust torque at high-intensity track. It gets upgraded hardware structure on PCB and brushless motor, which enhances its durability in high-temperature conditions.
Power HD has announced that former World Champion Dominic Greiner has joined the servo manufacturer’s team driver line-up. Greiner, who won the 2016 IFMAR 1:10 Nitro Touring Car World Championship in Italy, and called time on his very successful nitro racing career at the end of 2023 has since made an impressive switch to electric onroad racing. Last November, the factory Serpent made a very strong IFMAR ISTC World Championship debut in California, putting himself in the final and finishing P7. The German will use POwer HD’s GTS-2 servo in his 1:10 Touring cars, FWD and 1:8 electric onroad.

The organisers of the Philippine Masters has revealed the Circulo Verde Race Track which will host Asia’s most high profile 1:8 Offroad event of the year from April 30-May 4. The 13th running of the Philippine Masters, track designer and accomplished offroad racer Edward Sio has overseen the work which includes the track being newly re-surfaced and oiled. Tweaking the layout in some sections and they have also added some additional jumps for more actions on this always popular track. Last year the Manila event was once again won by World Champion Davide Ongaro in a final that saw the legendary Atsushi Hara lead for almost half the final. With the Philippines famed as a holiday destination, the event has a truly unique vibe living up to the nations tourism tagline ‘It’s More Fun in the Philippines’. Holding the same status as the TITC in Thailand does among onroad racers, once again Philippine Masters ’25 will form part of Scotty Ernst’s Asian Buggy Championships as the second stop of four races that make up the championship’s third season.
