Power HD adds young British Offroad racer Grindley

Leading servo manufacturer Power HD has announced the addition of young British 1:8 Buggy racer Billy Grindley to their team for 2026. The European B Championship finalist, who represents WIRC/Reds Racing, enjoyed a strong 2025 season with results including being a British Nationals finalist, finishing runner-up in the Junior Nationals, and winning both the HNMC GP and the Slough GP. The teenager, whose 2026 season will include racing at the Neoland, a revival of the Neo Race over the Easter weekend, will use Power HD upgraded servo S35V2 for the coming season, which are more energy-efficient and less prone to overheating, make it perfectly suited for 1:8 Buggy. On the announcement, Grindley said, ‘I am Excited for my new adventure with PowerHD for the following season. I can’t wait to try them out for the first time on track, thank you to everyone at PowerHD for the opportunity.’

Power HD sign German Champion Weigerding

Leading servo manufacturer Power HD has announced that current German 1:8 Onroad National Champion Marco Weigerding has joined its team driver line-up for 2026. The former Large Scale World Championship podium finisher, who now races 1:8 Onroad for Serpent with whom he has been a European Championship & ENS finalist, will now use Power HD servos as part of his race program. Joining the likes of Toni Gruber in representing the brand in 1:8 Onroad, on his new partnership Weigerding said, ‘I’m very happy and proud to be joining the Power HD team. I can’t wait to hit the track with my new power servos! I’m sure I will have the best servos in my car for the next time! See you all at the track.’

Power HD 1025PH Micro Servo

Servo manufacturer Power HD has released this new micro servo which is suitable for 1:24-scale mini drift and micro touring cars. Also a good fit for micro 3D helis as well as indoor foamies and lightweight gliders, 1025PH weighs only 4.8 grams but provides 1.5kg·cm of torque and at 0.07s speed. Featuring a metal gears it measures 17.2 x 9.0 x 18.7 mm.

Polito joins Team Power HD

Leading servo manufacturer Power HD has announced that Italian 1:8 Offroad racer Mattia Polito has joined its team driver line-up. Born in 2003, the multiple European Championship finalist, 2018 European B Champion, and 2021 Italian National Champion, placed 14th at the 2024 IFMAR World Championship in Spain. With podium results at the SIGP race in China and Asian Buggy Championships in the Philippines, Polito is now entered the global Top 25 RC 1:8 Nitro Buggy Rankings (P18). Polito will run the Power HD S35-V2 as his throttle servo and GTS-6 as steering servo as part of his campaign as an Sworkz team driver.

Power HD TRX-4M Mini Crawler Servos

Servo manufacturer Power HD has released two new waterproof servos intended for the Traxxas 1:18 TRX-4M Mini Crawler. TR-4M & WT35, each feature an 18cm receiver wire to ensure the servo is a direct fit in the TRX-4M crawler. While the TR-4M weighs 14-grams, the brass bodied WT35 weighs 35grams, making it a perfect balance weight servo for your crawler.

Power HD Large Scale WB Series servos

Power HD has released a new series of Large Scale servos with the new WB range offered in 100KG, 120KG, 150KG rated options. With maximum supported voltage of 25.2V, the range can be used in Axial 1:6 SCX6, Losi 1:6 Super Baja Rey, Losi Super Rock Rey, Arrma 1:5 Kraton RTR, Arrma 1:5 Kraton EXB, Arrma 1:5 Outcast RTR, Arrma 1:5 Outcast. They can also be used for drones. All featuring steel gears, the WB-100KG produces 100KG-cm at 8.4-volts, WB-120KG producing its top torque at 16.8V, while the WB-150KG hitting its max torque at 25.2 volts and at a maximum draw of 6 amps.
