Team Powers have introduced their new 7.6V LiHV low centre of gravity shorty battery pack for 1/10th formula pan cars and 2WD buggies. Designed with spec class racing in mind the battery weighs in at 155g and it offers a low overall height of only 18.5mm. It is built from high-performance 120C LiHV cells and utilises 5mm bullet-type connectors.
Coming soon from Team Powers is their new multi-function aluminium parts tray. Machined from high-quality material and coming black anodised the tray features four machined small parts compartments, 4mm and 5mm pockets to hold bullet-type connectors during soldering, it comes with an engraved ruler and an interchangeable shock stand or tool holder platform. In addition two brackets allow to place a mobile phone onto the stand. The tool measures 110x120x55mm and it weighs in at a lightweight 128g.
Team Powers have introduced their new 7.6V 2S 5600mAh LiHV shorty battery pack. Measuring 94.5x46x25.1mm and weighing in at 208g the hardcase pack is built from high-quality 130C Graphene technology cells for a low internal resistance and high power output while offering great durability. The pack is ideal for spec racing classes and it will hit stores soon.
Coming soon from Team Powers is the Radon Pro V4 brushless speed controller. The 200A-rated ESC features new hardware in the form of higher power FETs for a lower internal resistance and thus increased power supply and lower running temperatures. At 17mm the new aluminium case is 2mm lower than the previous version while also scrubbing about six percent of weight. A new PCB layout design improves stability and reliability and the included new firmware provides the ability to access pre-defined software features – such as limiter, throttle rate, RPM lock, brake limit and throttle settings – using a third or fourth radio channel. Furthermore the controller comes with a 6V/7.4V 5A high-performance BEC system to support power-hungry servos.
Coming from Team Powers are two heavy duty power capacitor boards for 1S and 2S applications. Designed to improve initial motor punch and reduce motor fading over the course of a run, the capacitor boards are ideal for Stock and 1/12th scale racing. The 2S board utilises three capacitors while the 1S unit is of a smaller two-cap design with both featuring sturdy and easy-to-mount aluminium cases and heavy duty solder tabs. Both boards are made for the use in place for the speed controller’s stock capacitors and they are available soon.
Team Powers USA introduce the Xbooster capacitor module for the use with 2S LiPo applications. Designed to be run in parallel with the battery, the Xbooster will support the LiPo battery under heavy loads to help with acceleration and runtime. When run in stock classes and with the Team Powers Radon ESC series it is recommend to replace the original triple capacitor board with the module while in modified classes it is beneficial to use both in parallel.
Made in collaboration between Powers International and Speed Mind, this new carbon look case has been designed for 1/10th scale buggies and general parts transport.
