New Pro-Line Pro-2 options, bodies & tyres

New Pro-Line Pro-2 options, bodies & tyres

Pro-Line was busy adding more short course related option parts to their already impressive line-up by introducing new carbon fibre parts for their Pro-2 truck kit along two new tyres and pre-cut bodyshells. Starting with the parts for the Pro-2 short course truck, first up are front and rear shock tower braces cut from high-quality carbon fibre. The braces are ideal for high-bite track conditions as they reinforce the suspension assembly for a more consistent handling as it eliminates unwanted flex. Available as separate front and rear part the braces are direct bolt-ons. Also new is the a carbon fibre transponder mount that attached right on top of the servo mounts. While adding a certain amount of rigidity, it first and foremost acts as a sturdy base for your personal transponder. Like the shock tower braces the PT mount is a direct bolt-on.

Pro-Line Edge & Champion and 1/10th Blockades tires

Pro-Line Edge & Champion and 1/10th Blockades

Tire news from Pro-Line who have re released their Edge and Champion thread patterns for the RC10 Classic. Originally released around 25 years ago both tires were used by many of the top Team Associated drivers on the most competitive tracks in the world with Jay Halsey using the Champion design to win the 1985 IFMAR World Championship in Pamona, CA. Jumping forward a few decades Pro-Line have also officially announced the 1/10th rear Blockade which we had a sneak peek of last week. Available in M3 and M4 compounds the tire is perfect for when you find yourself racing in loose, dusty or hard-packed conditions. The tread design features large lugs for class leading tread life, perfectly balanced tread spacing for maximum forward bite and uniquely blended side tread that reduces the edginess found in other race tires.

Pro-Line Mirage SS for RC10 Classic

Pro-Line Mirage SS for RC10 Classic

Having teased this Mirage SS through photo releases over the past week Pro-Line have finally released this Limited Edition body for the Associated RC10 Classic. Over 25 years ago Pro-Line began producing Championship winning accessories for the Original RC10 that serious enthusiasts could not live without. Now, Pro-Line, with permission from Team Associated, has reproduced the legendary Mirage SS for the RC10 Classic. The Mirage SS was the first racing body designed by Cliff Lett of RC Performance Specialties (RCPS) for the RC10. Many of the top Team Associated drivers used the Mirage SS exclusively. Brian Kinwald used the Mirage SS to win the 1993 IFMAR World Championship in Basildon, England. With a super low slung nose section and the iconic side pods and cab, the Mirage SS will make your buggy look good on and off the track. Pro-Line notes that this replica Mirage SS has minor alterations to keep the value of the Original Mirage SS bodies intact.
