Mikrotek Engineering MT7 Onyx .21 nitro on-road engine

Newly founded company Mikrotek Engineering have introduced their first in a line of competition nitro engines, the MT7 Onyx .21 nitro on-road power plant. Coming from a joint venture of Malik Diop and Angelo Economou with the help of Francesco Tironi and international drivers from Germany, France, Spain and Japan, Mikrotek Engineering will focus on developing and producing high-quality competition engines with exceptional all-round characteristics. The MT7 Onyx becomes available from end of January 2017 with the MT4 Zeus off-road and MT3 Hercules .12 on-road engines coming at a later date. Also available will be accessories such as exhausts and glow plugs.

Pro-Line introduce new pre-mounts & compound updates

Pro-Line have introduced two new pre-mounted 1/8th buggy tyres and a compound update for the poplar Holeshot 2.0 tyre. Starting with the pre-mounts, available soon is the ElectroShot 1/8th buggy tyre on white disc wheels. The tyre tread comes from the mind of Ty Tessmann and is designed to perform just like a Hole Shot 2.0 while lasting significantly longer. The tyre is available in X2 medium and X3 soft compound.

Hudy 1/10th on-road car bag

Hudy have introduced their new car bag for 1/10th on-road vehicles such as touring and pan cars. The reinforced bag makes for easy and secure storage and transport, it offers padded walls, the popular Hudy graphics and it is made using European-made materials. A rubber strap allows to install the bag on Hudy’s travel bag and it can house both 200mm nitro and 190mm electric cars.

Coming from Pro-Line is the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor bodyshell for the use with Axial’s Yeti Trophy Truck. Resembling the mean looking F-150 the body is a direct fit on Axial’s scale trophy truck and it comes made from clear polycarbonate and including a comprehensive decal sheet.

Trinity super lightweight 64 pitch pinion gears

Trinity have introduced three new super lightweight 64 pitch pinion gears. Machined from high-quality aluminium and coming excessively machined to nearly half the weight of Trinity’s silver pinions, the hard-anodised gears are ideal for on-road and oval racing. They come in 40T, 46T and 48T sizes with the overall width being 9mm while the tooth face width is a narrow 4mm.

Shepherd Velox V10 WC 200mm nitro touring car kit

Based on the successful Velox V10 Pro platform German company Shepherd have now released the Velox V10 WC. The kit includes nearly all of the new parts that were already successfully used at the World Championship in Gubbio with Simon Kurzbuch making the most out of them claiming the second spot after qualifying and the third place overall while scoring the fastest lap of the main final. A new chassis plate as well as a new radio plate with an eccentric insert allows to mount the servo saver in two different position doubling the possible Ackermann settings. Furthermore the radio plate features two different steering servo mount positions giving additional options for the weight distribution.

Kawada M300 FX4 US Spec 1/12th pan car kit

Japanese company Kawada have introduced the M300 FX4 US Spec 1/12th scale pan car kit. Based off of the FX3 the latest variant features a noticeable amount of changes and updates such as the new rear power pod with newly designed 6mm alloy motor and side plate that now allow rear axle height adjustments using shims rather than the conventional inserts. The motor pod is also of a low profile design, scrubbing about 3mm of height compared to the previous version.

Contact introduce new 1/8th scale tyres

Coming from Contact are all-new 1/8th nitro on-road tyres. Developed in conjunction with their international team drivers Simon Kurzbuch, Robert Pietsch and Tony Gruber the tyres are manufactured with new low sensitivity to high temperature material and they come on new black colour 5-spoke rims that offer a grub screw balancing system while being lightweight and more impact resistant. A new and improved glueing process increases durability and the tyres are cut and trued to a new front 38mm and rear 60.5mm width while offering a larger diameter of 53.9mm. Included come aerodynamic sticker discs and Contact decals.
