2025 MonTech New York Grand Prix – Announcement

The organisers of the MonTech New York Grand Prix have announced details of the seventh edition of the annual indoor race that takes place at the 360v2 RC track in New Rochelle, New York.  Taking place from October 16th to 19th, avoiding the annual Columbus Day holiday this year, the event has become one of the highlights on the annual US onroad racing calendar and draws an international entry stateside.  Last year it was Awesomatix’s Kemp Anderson and Xray’s Keven Hebert who came away as the big winners securing victory in Mod 1:12 and Mod Touring Car respectively.  The vision of long time 1:12 racer Donny Lia, the NYGP is the nearest thing RC will get to having a race in Time Square, the track just a 20-minute train ride from the centre of the City That Never Sleeps.  Counting multiple World Champions Marc Rheinard (2022 NYGP Winner), Ronald Volker (2019 NYGP Winner), Alexander Hagberg, reigning 1:12 Stock World Champion Max Mächler and Ollie Payne as previous participants, 360V2 is one of the biggest indoor tracks in the US with racing takes place on a track layout covering an area of 105 X 48 feet.

MR33 TABLO Table for Charger & Accessories

New from Marc Rheinard’s MR33 brand comes the TABLO, a practical small table that you can use to create additional space on the wrench table.  The space on the tables at racing events is often very limited but with the TABLO you can simply build a second floor.  Manufactured by BOOM RC, the table top is made of a stable and very light material, the MR33 logo is laser-engraved and it has external dimensions of 28 x 18 cm.  The four feet can be easily screwed on and off using the screw thread and with the feet fitted the table top is 9.5 cm high.  The three openings at the back of the tabletop each measure 25 x 12.5 mm and are ideal for routing the cables from the charger to the power supply unit.

Neo Vintage Racing Motor Cooling Plate

More from well known RC designer Michael Vollmer and Patrick Morliere project Neo Vintage Racing comes this Cooling Plate for enhanced motor performance.  Engineered to tackle overheating head-on, this cooling plate is a game-changer for both stock and modified buggy racing. Crafted with precision, its slotted plate design, coupled with strategically placed air channels, facilitates optimal airflow, ensuring your motor stays cool even during the most intense races.  Eliminating motor fade and magnet damage, this cooling plate ensures uninterrupted power until the finish line.  The red-anodised aluminium plate doubles as a distance plate, resolving common issues with modern brushless motors, particularly in Kyosho cars like Lazer, Mid Optima, Optima, and Ultima. By creating a safe distance between the motor plate and gearbox, it simplifies wiring and eliminates concerns of soldering tabs interfering with gearbox components.
