Shepherd Velox V10 1/10 scale 200mm chassis

Shepherd Micro Racing are pleased to announce the release of the new Velox V10 1/10 scale 200mm chassis. Designed with the help of current World Champion Daniele Ielasi, the car has already been proving its performance on tracks around the World, finishing runner up at this year’s ROAR Nationals in the hands of Josh Cyrul and winning the competitive Asian Cup in Bangkok driven by Jilles Groskamp. Seen for the first time as a one-off prototype at the 2009 International Toy Fair in Nuremberg, the chassis has undergone a lot of fine tuning in preparation for its public release. Shepherd Micro Racing’s Velox V10 is packed with loads of innovative features, most seen for the first time on a 1/10 nitro on-road car. First and foremost the chassis is equipped with Shepherd’s innovative ‘Direct-V-Brake System’ (DVB System) that sees the brake discs sit directly on the rear differential allowing for a more precise feel without the fear of brake fade during a run. Different from current designs that sport a single brake disc on the middle layshaft, the V10’s DVB System sits directly on the rear bulkhead close to the chassis’ centre line for optimised weight distribution.

Team Titan Blitz ISF EP racing bodyshell

Team Titan have released the all new Blitz ISF EP racing bodyshell. Designed for rubber tire 190mm electric touring car racing it has been extensively testing and showed to give great handling and consistent lap times on both asphalt and carpet tracks. Sporting 2 height line in 115mm for IFMAR rules and 120mm For BRCA rules the attached wing also has 2 cut lines for adjusting the rear down force. Available in 2 different thicknesses, 0.8mm and 0.7mm, it is supplied clear with light decals and window mask.

Xceed RC 4200 NiMh pack & Air Filter set

Two new products from Xceed RC, who have released a complete off road air filter set as well as this 4200 NiMh battery pack. The 6 cell 7.2V pack is pre assembled and comes with a Tamiya style plug, making it suitable for use in RC cars as well as starter boxes and other uses. The air filter set includes a hard plastic case and top plate that keeps the filter elements well mounted and protected. The 2 foam elements are precision cut from quality foam that is great for retaining the filter oil while allowing for optimal air flow.

Motonica 18T Clutch pinion gear

Italian company Motonica have announced the release of this new 18T clutch pinion. This precision part has been machined from Ergal 7075 and is an optional second gear for the 1/8th scale P81 chassis. This pinion is also compatible with the clutch bell on the P8C and P8F series.

Acorn Racing have released this 4200mAh 30C hardcase LiPo battery. Designed using the latest technology to handle the high-current demands of today’s R/C Power applications this new series 2S1P LiPo offers extremely high voltage, long run time and superior consistent performance and true 30C discharge. Featuring a durable hardcase in order to keep the cells from being damaged during use, it also features some vertical standard Sub-C cell bulges to securely fit into standard Sub-C chassis plates. This battery measures 137x47x22mm, weighs 230 grams and is built within ROAR’s Legal specifications.

RB 1/8th Circuit body Wing set & Stiffeners

RB have introduced some new accessories for use with 1/8th scale on road body shells. This first is this new wing set, which is supplied with two different types which are pre cut and come with the necessary nylon mounting screws and nuts. Also for the body is a set of body stiffeners, that are made from high quality lexan and they two are delivered in two different versions and come supplied with body rivets.
