TKO Radial/Thrust Clutch bearings

TKO Radial/Thrust Clutch bearings

TKO Competition development have introduced a new radial / thrust design bearing (5x13x4) for use in the clutch of Losi 1/8th scale off roaders. The Patent Pending bearing has 2 seals, one blue and one black, with the blue seal facing the front of the car. These bearings have a higher RPM rating than standard 5x13s and are capable of withstanding high radial and axial loads for improved performance and life. Their 5×10 bearing has also been updated with these 2 different coloured seals.

More 1/8th scale body shells, this time from Japanese firm Honest who have released 2 new versions, a Lola T92 and Lola EX. The Lola EX is your standard high downforce affair that fits easily on most 1/8th scale on road chassis’, while the Laura T92 is the second body to be seen this week with a cockpit in place of the driver. I don’t believe that either have been so far approved for racing but if you still want one, they are available now.

Corally VHS cells & Accessories

Corally have announced the release of lots of new products, some of which we saw that the Toy Fair back in February. Starting with cells, Corally have released their VRS matched IB4600 and EP4600, both available as race or team matched packs in either 4, 5 or 6-cell versions. New for their range of touring cars are special short shock bodies, making it possible to run your car with lower ride height settings while keeping more suspension up travel. For 1/12th scale racers are some new 36mm rear US Factory wheels, that are available next to the 38 mm US Factory wheels. With these wheels it is possible to use smaller diameter tires while keeping the same amount of rubber on traction required by some track conditions. For the company’s F1 chassis, they have released a set of five 3.0 mm aluminium spacers for adjusting the steering lever of this car and finally the long awaited Team Corally Black Hooded Sweaters with kangaroo pockets are available.
