RC Maker Awesomatix GeoCarbon front bumper mount

RC Maker have introduced the next instalment in their GeoCarbon range, the GeoCarbon front bumper mount for the Awesomatix range of touring cars. Designed to be used with the kit P14-1X lower bumper mount, it increases the bumper’s rigidity, and also the body post rigidity by offering more support around the post. This is a direct replacement for the standard part, and also includes an additional brace to brace the bumper to the bulkheads, preventing the bumper from bending in impacts. This part does not touch the bulkheads but clears by the slightest of margins as to ensure no tweaking. Constructed of high-quality 3K 3mm carbon, it is lightweight and durable, and also super sexy.

RC Maker touring car floating electronics plates

RC Maker have introduced their new adjustable electronics mounting plates for most of today’s 1/10th electric touring cars. The floating brass mount with central attachment allows for fully floating electronics with absolutely minimal flex interference, giving symmetrical flex, which is not possible in conventional layouts. The plates make it incredibly easy to swap chassis plates, as electronics stay fixed to the plate, making it only two screws to swap all electronics over, without messing with tape. The unique design is making it very easy to swap between chassis manufacturers and try different plates all without having to buy entire new kits while offering left-to-right chassis balance adjustment. Different fastening inserts allow for even greater versatility without the need to buy a whole new set again. Same with changing to different plates and centre weights, they are all compatible with each-other. Beside the double-sided design, RC Maker also offers a single sided set with 4mm of adjustability left and right to adjust the balance bias of the car. Used for the electronics only it allows to tune the chassis balance, and also move weight in or out both sides to adjust the amount of roll in the chassis depending on the traction level. In addition to the brass double and single-sided sets, RC Maker also offer the brass plates separately to conversion double into single and single into double-sided designs. Optional carbon fibre option plates make for reduced overall mass if needed while an optional +10g centre weight adds further weight tuning options. Supported cars include the Yokomo BD8 and BD9, Xray T4 2017 to 2019, Team Associated TC7.1 and TC7.2, Tamiya TRF419X, Awesomatix A800X, Infinity IF14, Xpress XQ1, Mugen MTC1 and ARC R11’19.

RC Maker Geo carbon wheel arch and skirt tool

New to RC Maker’s new Geo Carbon range of products, is this unique wheel arch tool, which not only gives a template for the body’s wheel arches, but also sets the skirt height for the body based off axle height. After locating the axle with the body mounted, modellers can simply trace around the entire carbon fibre template, which provides both a wheel arch line and a skirt cutting line. The template also features an elongated slot unlike its predecessor, allowing to accurately offset the wheel arch to prevent tucking in the rear of the wheel.

RC Maker TC bellcrank ackermann shim plates

New from RC Maker are these simple ackermann plates which slide into the bell crank steering on most cars and allow to change the ackermann geometry without totally unscrewing the ball studs to install a shim, which can be a fiddly job. They install by simply loosening the ball studs and sliding the plates in or out and tightening. The set consists of two plates, one 0.5mm and one 1mm, allowing to tune your the steering ackermann from 0.5-1.5mm in 0.5mm increments. These fit the Xray T4, Yokomo BD9, Infinity IF14, Awesomatix A800X, ARC R11 and any other car with bell crank ballstud spacing of 8.0-8.5mm.

RC Maker body shell anti-tuck wing mount set

New from RC Maker is an anti-tuck system for touring car body shells. Mounting between the wing strut and behind the lower wheel arch, they add significant stability to the rear of the body shell and prevent body tucks during racing, and unwanted vibrations on large tracks. The set is developed together with experienced Australian 3D printing company Think RC, and has been rigorously durability tested on track. Weighing in at only 7g for the pair and removing the need for a wing nut, they are a very viable option for all levels of drivers, and also a great, constructive way of adding weight for the ETS 90g rule. Moulding perfectly to the wing strut, they also feature a rear strut support which braces the back of the strut where damage from crashes is normally unable to be repaired. They are currently available for Protoform Type S and D9 bodies.
