RC Maker offroad digital camber & toe gauges

The latest in the line of RC Maker’s digital camber and toe gauges are two variants for 1/10th and 1/8th EP and GP off-road cars. They comprise of two different versions, one for 1/10th EP 2WD and 4WD buggies, and one for 1/8th EP and GP buggies and trucks. This allows to digitally measure the camber, camber gain and toe on all off-road vehicles. Consisting of an aluminium and carbon fibre construction, they are built to very tight tolerances accurate to within 0.01 degrees over a 4-degree range. This ensures precise and replicable camber and toe. The gauge itself features a backlit screen with big numbers for easy viewing in day and night, as well as “auto off” and “zero” functions to be able to zero to the setup board surface no matter what angle it is on. The gauge also features very easily replaceable AAA batteries and comes with a velvet storage pouch to keep it looking and functioning like new.

RC Maker long reach touring car ride height gauge

New from RC Maker is a simplified ride height gauge for touring cars with longer platforms. Outdoor racing with carbon chassis can lead to excessive chassis wear in the exact spots which drivers measure the ride height from. The increased 20mm length of the platforms allows the gauge to reach a more inner, unworn part of the chassis. This gives a much more accurate reading on the ride height, noting the difference between measurements can be from 0.2mm – 1mm depending on how worn the chassis is. The gauge of six platforms ranging from 5mm to 6mm in 0.2mm increments suits all racing conditions with fine tunability. It features a lightweight 7075 aluminium construction with black anodising and white laser etched numbers and logo.

RC Maker Digital Camber, Toe & Caster setup gauges

New from RC Maker are an industry first line of digital setup gauges for 1/10th EP and GP Touring Cars. The first introductions to the line are two digital gauges, one for conventional touring cars which digitally measures camber and rear toe. This is currently being debuted by Ronald Volker and Yukijiro Umino at IIC in Las Vegas. The second is for Awesomatix Touring Cars which digitally measures the front and rear caster. Consisting of an Aluminium and Carbon Fibre construction, they are built to very tight tolerances accurate to within 0.01 degrees over a 4-degree range. This ensures precise and replicable camber, toe and caster adjustments. The gauge itself features a backlit screen with big numbers for easy viewing in day and night, as well as “auto off” and “zero” functions to be able to zero to your setup board surface no matter what angle it’s on. It also features very easily replaceable AAA batteries and comes with a velvet storage pouch to keep it looking and functioning like new.

RC Maker Awesomatix suspension ball wrench

New from RC Maker is this suspension ball wrench, which holds the AT21 and AT21S-0.5 lower suspension balls on Awesomatix touring cars. Until now, the plastic ball cup prevented any tool being able to lock onto the hex in order to hold the ball whilst tightening and loosening. These balls are required to be removed whenever changing roll centre or replacing the main chassis. It is made from thin, but very stiff and durable carbon fibre and is available now.

RC Maker A800X Med Flex Link

RC Maker’s Med Flex Link is a custom built, machined ball link system that provides the front or rear of the A800X touring car with a medium flex option. It allows the bulkheads to flex independently but not together, bracing the front and/or rear of the topdeck under acceleration and braking, yet still allowing it to move sideways in cornering. This provides increased forward traction and stability when used at the rear, and increased braking grip and turn in when used at the front. It also features an integrated belt tensioning system, allowing to run the belts looser for less rolling resistance, whilst still maintaining longevity and reliability. Thee links have all individually been custom machined and fitted to the car to ensure a precision fit and smooth action. They work with both the C27X standard top deck and the VTD vertical top deck. However, they will only provide a substantial handling effect when the braces on the VTD are cut, to allow the flex link to work.
