Revolution Design Racing Products has introduced this aluminium steering plate for Team Associated’s B6.4 1:10 2WD Buggy. Made from high-grade black anodised aluminium it offers more rigidity over the plastic kit part for a more direct steering feel, in particular when paired with the B6.4 RDRP aluminium bellcrank set. Laser engraved for a unique look and with chamfered edges, this item combines reliability, precision and style.
New from Revolution Design Racing Products are these Ultra X-Rings for 3mm 1:10 Shocks. Regular maintenance is crucial for ensuring the effective functioning of every RC car. Many parts hidden inside the most important assemblies are often neglected, including shock seals. RDRP’s Ultra X-Rings carry over the proven rubber compound of the well-known white O-rings. Thanks to their X-shaped profile, friction is reduced while retaining great sealing characteristics to any debris outside the shock, no matter whether you run on dirt or carpet. The packs of eight Ultra X-Rings are convenient for racers and hobby shops alike as they fit a wide variety of cars and trucks with 3 mm shock shafts, including but not limited to Team Associated, Schumacher and many of the latest TLR and Yokomo kits.
Following the popular B74.1 aluminium shock towers, RDRP is now offering the Aluminium Front and Rear Shock Towers for the B6.4 and B6.3 2WD off-road buggies. Machined from high-quality aluminium the heavy-duty design matches the standard kit geometry but increases durability, suspension efficiency and precision. Thanks to identical stock mounting positions, it is a direct replacement and does not require any setup modifications after the change of parts. High craftsmanship standards and polished and chamfered silver edges make the shock tower visually stand out, and it is heavily machined to keep the weight low.
The Revolution Design Racing Products +3mm chassis has been updated for the ultra-popular Team Associated B6.3 2wd buggy. As before, it mirrors the optimised length of the original B6.2 and B6.3 chassis to improve handling in high-bite track conditions such as carpet and Astroturf, making the car easier and faster to drive at the same time. Of course, the new chassis is prepared to accommodate new-generation servo mounts such as the B6.3 kit item or the RDRP LCG servo mount set. Machined from aircraft-grade 7075 aluminium for strength and optimised flex characteristics, the black anodised surface is the perfect basis for a stealthy looking high-performance model race car. As with the B6.2 version, the chassis comes with a low centre of gravity 7075-T6 motor plate that puts your motor as low as possible into the chassis cut out.
Stadium trucks are fun to drive and durable, not least because the body protects the parts that are exposed on a 2WD buggy. Of course, this comes at a price, and stadium trucks bodies usually don’t last as long as their little brothers. For Team Associated’s latest entry to the category, help has arrived in form of the Revolution Design T6.2 body mount stiffener set. Precisely machined carbon fibre stiffeners brace the body mounts against the impacts of involuntary tough landings, thus reducing stress on the polycarbonate body. As a side effect, body clips tend to stay in place much better, which aids to solve another regular issue of stadium trucks.
Add extra durability and precision with RDRP’s new aluminium steering blocks for Team Associated’s sixth generation of 2WD vehicles. Sharing the geometry with the kit’s 4mm offset plastic parts, they are a direct replacement without influencing your dialled set-up too much. The black anodised aluminium parts are labelled with laser-etched L and R marks, and of course the well-known RDRP logo. Silver chamfered edges round out the stealthy factory look.
RDRP’s latest item addresses the needs of relaxed hobbyists and focused racers alike. The aluminium battery mount set both increases ease of maintenance and operation, and allows for more balanced chassis flex to support the design concept behind the B6.3’s all-new servo mount assembly. In addition, the combination of aluminium and carbon fibre parts adds to the professional look of your 6th generation Team Associated car or truck and accommodates shorty batteries of all capacities and sizes. No more searching for that nut driver when you are in a hurry to install a fresh battery just before your next heat.
Saving weight, adding durability, and increasing adjustment options is high on the list of every racer. The one-piece aluminium front axles of Team Associated’s B6.2 are very light already, but can be bent by hard impacts and offer no track width adjustment options as seen on the buggies of the competition. Their truck counterparts are made of steel for added durability, but still have a fixed track width and off-set, and increase unsprung weight. RDRP’s titanium wheel axles come with 5mm aluminium clamping hexes for the B6 series and 8.5mm versions for their stadium and short course truck brothers. Both axle types accept the readily available Associated 1/10th scale wheel hexes for even more variety.
