RDRP B64 carbon/aluminium centre bulkhead cover

Made for the Team Associated B64 series of 1/10th 4WD buggies is RDRP’s new carbon and aluminium centre bulkhead cover. It replaces the standard composite part with a more rigid and also way cooler looking assembly that adds to the overall appearance of the buggy while also reinforcing the motor mount and centre bulkhead area for increased drivetrain efficiency. The assembly is constructed from high-quality carbon fibre and anodised aluminium, it is available in black or blue colour and fits both the B64 and B64D kits.

RDRP B64 aluminium steering rack Type B

Revolution Design Racing Products have introduced their new aluminium steering rack Type B for the Team Associated B64 1/10th 4WD buggy. It is a direct replacement for the brittle standard composite part, machined from aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminium and it comes blue or black anodised. The increased overall rigidity will also help with steering emphasis, enhancing the steering feeling especially in high-bite track conditions. Compared to the standard AE or RDRP part, the optional Type B rack will make for improved steering feeling over the whole steering range without adding extra steering. RDRP’s team drivers comment: “The main feeling was that the steering has more feel. [And] half steering feels more like half steering”. The rack can be used with the standard or RDRP’s optional #0401 aluminium steering bellcrank set.

RDRP XB4 aluminium caster block sets

Revolution Design Racing Products have introduced their new caster block sets for the Xray XB4 series of 1/10th scale 4WD buggies. An improvement over the original construction the hubs allow to easily adjust the camber link ball stud position and thus camber link length and roll centre by simply adding or removing shims. The multi-piece design was used on rear uprights before and is now available for the front hubs. While offering the standard kit geometry the hubs also allow to run shorter links which can be beneficial in a range of track conditions. The lightweight design and aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminium adds only minimal unsprung weight while still being sturdy and durable. RDRP’s C-hubs are usable on all XB4-series buggies and they are available in a 9 degree or 12 degree variant to adjust the corner characteristics of the buggy.

RDRP B64 aluminium differential cases

Available now from Revolution Design Racing Products are aluminium front, centre and rear differential cases for the Team Associated B64 buggy. They were developed to keep the drivetrain as consistent as possible over the whole run. The cases are machined from aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminium and they sports a heatsink design to further help with heat dissipation. Using the cases not only improves the precision of the drivetrain, the greatly improved heat transfer also keeps the diff oil much cooler – compared to using the standard plastic case – which results in a much more consistent drivetrain behaviour over the full run; even in high ambient temperatures. The diff cases come hard anodised for wear and looks and they includes a set of suitable inner cross pins for the internal gears. The part fits all B64 buggies equipped with the standard gear differentials and they are available separately for the front/rear as well as the centre diffs.

RDRP B64 rear chassis weight

Revolution Design Racing Products have introduced a new rear chassis balance weight for the Team Associated B64 1/10th 4WD buggy. It is the ideal tuning option for a range of track conditions as first and foremost it ensures a near perfect chassis balance when standard-size electronics and regular-weight batteries are used while also adding weight for improved rotation into corners and added traction in slippery track conditions. The weight comes machined from high-quality brass, it sports a nice black and golden finish for looks and it weighs in at 28g. Unlike RDRP’s other option parts it isn’t a direct fit as the left chassis side pod needs some DIY, although the work is carried out in under five minutes using a Dremel.
