Reds Racing introduce new long “L” manifold

Reds Racing have expanded their off-road manifold range by adding the new long “L” manifold to the current medium, short and extra short offerings. Each manifold has been designed for different track conditions and to optimise performance. The new long version allows to increase the engine’s performance at low and medium RPM for a better throttle feeling. It is recommended for high grip tracks, however the top speed will be lower compared to the shorter manifolds.

Reds Racing Durabell 13T & 14T clutch bells

Coming from Reds Racing are their new Durabell series 13T and 14T clutch bells for TLR and Tekno cars. The clutch bells are made of high-quality steel and the special coating treatment allows the teeth to last longer compared to standard clutch bells, transferring power from the clutch to the spur gear and the rest of the drive train with consistency and reliability. A special vented design also guarantees lower temperatures and cleaner clutch shoe engagement for a longer life of both bell and clutch shoes. The inner diameter of the bell is 26.6mm and it uses a 5x10x4mm front and 5x13x4mm rear bearing.

Reds Racing introduce updated 4-shoe clutch

Reds Racing have introduced their updated 4-shoe off-road clutch system. Developed to make the engine power output smoother and more linear, the clutch will also provide exceptional traction, vehicle driveability and low fuel consumption. The updated clutch features three preload adjustments on the front plate to fit any type of surface and engine output. Drivers can change the spring preload on the front plate from a high, medium or low position and choose between 1.0mm or optional 1.1mm springs. Additional XH and XXH front plates have been specifically developed for the truggy class and available only as option parts. The new hybrid 7075 aluminium and carbon clutch shoes have been redesigned to increase wear resistance and in addition, the new shoes are lighter, to allow for and engage at higher revs and lower inertia to rotation. The clutch can be used in standard dual aluminium and carbon shoe configuration for most tracks or as triple aluminium and single carbon setup for high grip conditions. In addition, Reds have also introduced new 32mm and 34mm low inertia flywheels as option as the set comes with a medium inertia flywheel from standard.

Reds Racing WR5 Black Diamond LTD engine

Reds Racing have introduced their new WR5 Black Diamond LTD engine. The Limited Edition engine utilises 5-ports, with special features based on the famous R5T Team Edition engine that has been a staple in the Reds lineup for 6 years. Available in two different models, the WR5 Black Diamond and WR5 Black Diamond HE High Efficiency, the latter version features low fuel consumption and smooth power band for high drivability. Reds have also improved the engine with a Black Diamond DLC Coated crankshaft which can last approximately 3-4 times more than a standard crankshaft thanks to the extreme hardness and low friction of the diamond coating. Even the conrod life is increased by about 50%. Supplied with an improved HCX carburettor featuring a new Flow Improved low speed needle and new 7075 aluminium fuel intake for improved tuning stability in extreme temperatures. Finally, the WR5 comes with a brand new black gloss cooling head which features an innovative design for improved air flow in order to increase the cooling and guarantee a low centre of gravity. Reds Racing introduce new exhaust manifolds

Italian company Reds Racing have introduced new exhaust manifolds for .21 rear exhaust outlet engines. The new design connects the manifold to the engine with a much better fit. The end result improves the strength and durability of the spring retainers. The new design also provides improved cooling in the exhaust area to guarantee longer life for the gasket, equalling lower maintenance costs. The manifold is available in three sizes; the medium variant is recommended for short tracks where more bottom torque is required, but top speed will be lower. The second is the short manifold that is recommended for medium or standard-size  tracks. It is a good compromise between torque and top speed. Last but not least comes the XS extra short variant that is recommended for tracks with long main straights and to achieve the highest top speed but lower bottom torque.
