Reds Racing sign Broc Champlin for 2021

Reds Racing have announced that they have signed the ‘King of carpet’ Broc Champlin to their team for 2021. Broc who has made big changes to his program for 2021 will be using their full lineup of electronics and nitro motors, with Reds Racing saying ‘We are excited to be working with Broc for 2021 and beyond’. Broc stated:

My cars shall be suited up with Reds equipment in both 1/10th and 1/8th scale. Did some testing with the product, oh my, is it amazing. I went significantly quicker than the times I had on the track previously and the car was way smoother, way more consistent, and I felt more in control. Nothing but the best!!

Reds Racing high airflow cooling fans

Reds Racing have introduced their new 30mm and 40mm high airflow cooling fans to improve brushless electric motors cooling efficiency. The new fans feature a heatsink design for additional heat dissipation with the machined aluminium heatsink design body guaranteeing improved durability and cooling efficiency. The new fans assure a high air flow rate thanks to a high speed motor and low friction ball bearings. Furthermore, these new fans come with a 180mm cable to allow installation on any type of car.

Reds Racing 521 GTS engine

Reds Racing have introduce their new generation of nitro GT engines called the 521 GTS. The new engine, available in steel or ceramic bearing versions, features high reliability, tuning stability and great fuel mileage, combined with specific technical changes in the porting and new materials. This 5 port engine claims to offer higher power and better fuel efficiency compared to other engines. The S line features a new and unique high stiffness crankcase design and uses all new materials and casting technology. The engine is produced with pressure die casting, which is a very high quality process, while previous generation R line crankcase was with gravity casting. Another big improvement is the brand new aluminium carburettor, again made using pressure die casting. The decision to change carburettor materials from plastic to aluminium further improves idle stability and tuning. The new carburettor is 30° inclined for better fluid dynamics to increase engine power and has an insulator to reduce carburettor temperature and increase idle stability at high temperatures.

The new and improved Reds Racing engine bearing tool kit was developed for nitro racers that want to perform critical maintenance on their nitro engines. Reds Racing Durabell Gen2 clutch bells

Reds Racing’s new Gen2 clutch bell line has been specifically designed to improve the teeth compared to the previous version, making them perfect for every type of car. The new 1mm module long wear clutch bell is made of high quality steel and the special coating treatment allows the teeth to last longer than any other standard clutch bell on the market, transferring power from the clutch to the centre spur gear and the rest of the drivetrain with more efficiency and reliability. Furthermore, the special surface treatment increases surface quality and wear resistance. A special vented design also guarantees lower temperatures and more clean shoe engagement for a longer life of both bell and clutch shoes.
