Reedy 5200mAh 55C 4S LiPo battery pack

Reedy have a new 4S 14.8V high-performance LiPo battery pack for 1/8th scale applications available. Even though there is a nearly 10 percent increase in capacity compared to its predecessor, there is no increase in weight, which makes it easy to achieve perfect left/right weight distribution in a typical 1/8th e-Buggy. Low-resistance 5mm power sockets offer great convenience while a durable hard case protects the battery from damage. Three 2mm balance ports allow for balance charging using the included balance charge harness and the pack also included two 5mm sockets.

Reedy Sonic 540-M3 competition brushless motors

Reedy have introduced the new Sonic 540-M3 540-size competition brushless motors. On the outside, the 540-M3 appears very similar to the Mach 2, but look closely nothing has been carried over from the previous model. A 3-piece CNC machined can reduces weight while improving airflow, component fit, and bearing alignment. Heavy-duty silver-plated solder tabs are not only thicker to reduce resistance, but are also cupped to aid soldering, and well supported to prevent internal connections from fatiguing over time. Inside the motors feature an all-new stator design, pure copper magnet wire, and low-resistance collector rings. Available short-stack 17.5 and 13.5 versions suit 1S-powered pan cars and under the right circumstances can create a power advantage in 2S-powered buggies, trucks, and touring cars while the modified variants offer a new stator design which improves mid-range feel. A balanced, high-strength sintered rotor provides powerful, fade-free performance thanks to improved manufacturing processes. To fine-tune for specific applications and tracks, a variety of optional rotors are available. Lastly, larger precision stainless steel ball bearings have been fitted to accommodate high RPM loads with improved reliability. Several versions, from 3.5T to 9.5T modified and 10.5T to 25.5T, are available and all meet ROAR, EFRA, and IFMAR specifications.

Reedy SC550 Brushed RTR ESC

Reedy have introduced their new SC550 Brushed RTR ESC. Water-resistance means maximum reliability and compact footprint allows for easy installation in most 1:10 vehicles. Drivers can opt for forward/brake/reverse or forward/brake only operation as well as LiPo or NiMH modes, depending on the type of battery being used. Reedy low-profile connectors & 13-gauge silicone wire

Team Associated have introduced the new Reedy 13-gauge Pro silicone wire and low-profile caged bullet-type connectors. Starting with the connectors, they feature a flat top for easy soldering and a versatile caged design that easily adapts to the slight variation in socket sizes found among different battery types and manufacturers. A snug fit and silver plating means less power loss due to resistance while 14mm length makes them a suitable for use with most socket style batteries. The connectors are available in 4mm and 5mm variants and in 2-piece or 10-piece packages. The new 13-gauge Pro silicone wire is a pure copper and pre-tinned variant for easy soldering. A heavy-duty silicone insulation protects the wire from cuts while maintaining maximum flexibility. The special diameter makes it usable for both on-road and off-road applications as it offers the best compromise between resistance and weight. The wire is available in 1m or 30m coils.

Reedy SC600-BL sensorless brushless RTR ESC

Reedy’s SC600-BL brushless speed controller is water-resistant for maximum reliability and features a compact footprint that allows for easy installation in most 1/10th scale vehicles. The controller is standard equipment in many of Team Associated’s 1/10th scale RTR vehicles and it also comes in handy for first-time drivers thanks to its ease of setup and forward/brake/reverse operation while offering precise and reliable throttle and brake control at the same time, making the speedo a choice for experts also. The ESC comes pre-wired with a low-resistance T-plug connector for the battery and 3.5mm motor connectors.

Reedy 6000mAh 70C 2S competition LiPo battery

Reedy’s new 6000mAh 70C competition LiPo battery is intended primarily for touring cars where capacity can be sacrificed in exchange for lighter weight and increased power output. Lighter weight allows for greater flexibility when adjusting weight distribution while maintaining the correct minimum overall weight. The pack offers increased power output thanks to a high average discharge voltage and low internal resistance which makes the battery interesting for Stock racers while Modified racers will enjoy the added power as well. The battery meets ROAR, EFRA, BRCA and IFMAR specs and it comes with 4mm socket connectors to keep the power-robbing resistance to a minimum.
