Reedy 5300mAh 70C LiPo shorty battery pack

New from Reedy comes a 5300mAh 70C 7.4V LiPo shorty battery pack. With shorty packs becoming a standard for 1/10th off-road buggies the new battery offers extended run times and maximum power output for both 2WD and 4WD classes. An improved cell chemistry and 70C discharge rating makes the pack ideal for Stock and Modified racing alike. The hardcase battery is equipped with 4mm socket connectors, it sports standard 93x47x24.8mm dimensions and weights in at 216g.

New Team Associated setup & countertop mats

Team Associated’s countertop/setup mat has undergone a facelift with the new black design replacing the earlier blue version and a new Reedy-branded variant being also available. Being only available through rc10.com these 16″ x 20″ mats provide a protective surface for countertops and RC pit tables alike. Preventing stains from nitro fuel, shock oil, dirt and grime, these mats are a great way to protect working place surfaces and they also do good as an RC pit table setup board, providing a flat surface for pre-race checks of ride height and camber/toe.

Latest from Reedy is the 3900mAh 70C LP LiPo shorty battery pack. Offering a standard 97x47mm footprint at a height of only 18.5mm the pack is substantially lower than standard 25mm shorty packs for a lower centre of gravity and a reduced weight. Scrubbing around 50g of weight compared to a regular shorty and offering a capacity of 3900mAh the pack is ideal for both stock and modified racing and it comes in a protective hardcase with 4mm low-resistance sockets.

Reedy 8000mAh 70C 3.7V competition LiPo battery

Reedy’s new 8000mAh 70C 3.7V competition LiPo battery is designed for 1/12th scale, World GT, and GT12 racers. The hardcase houses a high-capacity 8000mAh 70C cell while low-resistance 4mm socket connectors deliver power freely. The pack measures 93x47x18.5mm, it weighs in at 159g and it is available now.

Ben Jemison joins Reedy factory team

Reedy have announced that popular UK racer Ben Jemison has been added to the Reedy factory racing team for 2015. Jemison has been a long-time Reedy runner and now with factory team support and new chassis sponsor lined up, is highly motivated for the 2015 UK season. He had the following to say about the deal:

Vesa Yli renews with Reedy

Reedy has announced that Finnish on-road racer Vesa Yli signed a contract extension for 2015. Vesa’s specialty is 1:12 pan car but he also competes in the Finnish National Series with his touring car and dabbles in off-road in the Summer months. Vesa said:

I’m really excited and looking forward to the continued Reedy support and working with the team in 2015 and beyond. I have been extremely happy with the power package and the way the team works since the first joining in 2012. Together with Reedy’s determined and experienced R&D, I am sure we can achieve great results again in 2015 in all classes.
