Olly Jefferies joins Sanwa

LRP in Germany have announced that current British National Touring Car Champion Olly Jefferies has joined Sanwa. The factory Associated race who is also reigning 1/12th scale National will run the Sanwa Exzes-X 2.4GHz stick radio and SDX-801 low profile servo in his rides. He had this to say about the deal:

For me the Sanwa range is the best product on the market currently, the quality is superb and the performance on track is incredible. I have been extremely impressed with the Sanwa products and look forward to using them throughout the 2013 season.

Grid RC drop-down adapter for MT4

Grid RC have released this CNC machined steering wheel drop-down adapter for the Sanwa MT4 radio that brings the steering wheel directly in-line with the throttle trigger. The Grid RC drop down is milled so that it matches the styling of the MT4 and takes only minutes to install. Once installed, the racer will benefit from a more relaxed and comfortable hand position.

Much More traction compound & TX LiPo pack

New from Much More Racing comes the Nano off-road traction compound and the Sanwa M12 and MT-4 transmitter LiPo battery pack. Starting with the traction compound the Nano called tire softener is available in Green and Red formula and is designed to give electric and nitro tires an improved grip on slick clay surfaces. The traction compound comes in spray bottles for easy application. Made for the Sanwa M12 and MT-4 transmitters is Much More Racing’s 2500mAh 7.4V LiPo battery pack. It comes pre-wired with a Sanwa-compatible plug and balancing port and sports dimensions of 95x30x12.5mm with a weight of 97g.

Sanwa MX-V Radio set

The new Sanwa MX-V works with the Sanwa FHSS-2 2.4GHz technology which guarantees interference-free R/C car fun and a fast response times. A nameable 10 model memory allows an easy and quick change between your models and in addition, the MX-V is compatible with different receivers. It can be operated with the Sanwa RX-442FS and also with the LRP C3-RX. The complete setup works via the multi-functional display, no matter if anti-lock braking system setup, model selection or Expo adjustment, its no problem with the large and clear display. The case is based off the MT-4 and all important functions are arranged intuitively and can be reached without any problems also with small hands.

Sanwa/Airtronics M12 transmitter

Sanwa/Airtronics have introduced the M12, the new flagship transmitter which will replace the famous and very successful M11 unit. The new M12 claims to feature super high speed response (SSR) to the point where there is instant reaction to the drivers input for the ultimate driving feel. The new system also allows you to program the D/R settings to allow you to change trim or a curve in an instant to react to the changing conditions. The transmitter has also been made significantly lighter compared to its predecessor thanks to changes to the radio’s internal structure. Finally the M12 allows you to integrate a telemetry function to record your throttle and steering inputs and with extra sensors to recorder the RPM, voltage, temperature and further inputs.

Toy Fair 2012 – LRP / Sanwa

LRP released most of their new products before the fair but did show their S8 Rebel TX which has fully adjustable race suspension, the extra powerful LRP Z.28R Sport engine, VTEC Kamikaze truggy tires and a cab-forward competition body shell. It comes with a metal gear steering servo and big bore oil filled shocks. They have also introduced their new S10 Twister truck which is fully ball-raced, and has a slipper clutch and fully adjustable suspension geometry. Other items on display are the company’s new flagship competition brushless modified motor, the X20, the new LRP 20A power supply and an upgrade kit that turns your SXX speedo into a modified and stock speed controller. Finally on the battery front there is new range of competition LiPos with a higher C rating as well as higher capacity for longer run times.

Two new servos from Sanwa starting with the SRG-BRX Servo, which is best suited for 1/8 onroad, 1/10 touring car and 1/10 buggy classes. It features low friction ball bearings, extremely tough metal gearing and an efficient brushless motor. With its super fast reaction time of 0.06 seconds (40°) the SRG-BRX is first class when it comes to fast and accurate responding behavior. The Sanwa SRG-BLS Low Profile is a touring car servo which is ultra precise, ultra tough and ultra fast. Equipped with a brushless motor und low friction ball bearings it is very efficient and direct. The Sanwa SRG-BLS can be used in Sanwa Super Response-Mode.

Sanwa SDX-701 low-profile servo

Sanwa SDX-701 low-profile servo

Sanwa have released their SDX-701, the little brother of the SDX-801. A low profile servo it is perfect for the hobby and amateur racer, this digital servo features ball bearings and metal gears. An operating speed of  0.07sec/40° and torque of 7.0kg/cm at 6.0V it weighs in at 44 grams.
