Schumacher Eclipse spool axle set for 3 screw wheels

New from Schumacher for the Eclipse and other LMP12 brand chassis is this rear spool axle set for when using industry standard, 3 screw fixing, rear wheels. This set is ideal if you plan to use the Eclipse 4 using non Contact brand wheels, or when using ‘JT2’ Contact rear wheels. When comparing to a ball differential, a spool is particularly effective in high grip conditions, offering improved mid corner stability, direction change and forward traction. This set can be used on other brands of car, however, width spacing may need adjusting.

JConcepts S2 Cougar LD2 buggy body shell

JConcepts’ S2 body line up has been expanded to include the Schumacher Cougar LD2 buggy. Slammed overall height allows the S2 to whisk through the turns with a low centre of mass while the progressive cab design provides plenty of front-end force for superior balance and steering. A channeled roof directs the flow through the centre of the body while also increasing the rigidity of cockpit. The dual side-window design that has become famous on the JConcepts bodies remains to bring a traditional feel to the layout. The upper side-pods feature distinct vents used to help relieve hot air build-up inside the body for those high-powered runs or hot days at the track. Carved and detailed side-pods edge the body giving the highly aero unit a stylish look with a tight fit and finish. Included with the clear body shell come two S-Type wings as well as window masks and a decal sheet.

Penguin Cat L1 Evo Dart body

New from Penguin Custom Bodyshells is this Dart body for the Cat L1 Evo. The L1 Evo Dart body is designed to compliment the Cougar LD2 kit shell. It keeps the car flat through corners and is designed for high grip, with aerodynamic flicks down the side directing airflow over the wing to the rear. Supplied clear and available in both standard 0.75mm and lightweight 0.5mm version, it includes window masks and Penguin decals.

Schumacher Racing team welcomes Riccardo Berton

Schumacher Racing would like to welcome young Italian star Riccardo Berton to the team. Riccardo is the current 1/8th European champion and Worlds A finalist. On his new deal he said ‘Big thank you to the Schumacher Family for the opportunity to race with their cars, I am really thankful and I look forward to do some of the most important races. See you soon’. Riccardo will continue with his Infinity program for 1/8th but joins them for his 1/10th racing. He will be competing at many large 1/10th events around the World as and when travel allows.

Mon-tech Racing Stealth body shells for LD2

New from Mon-tech Racing is there two Stealth Off Road body shells for the Schumacher LD2. Developed in collaboration with Team Schumacher’s top driver Michal Orlowski, it comes in two versions, Stealth Carpet and Stealth Dirt. Both models have been developed to give maximum traction and steering in their respective conditions. Stealth Dirt offers incredible traction on low-grip terrain, while Stealth Carpet has an excellent corner entry, ideal for Carpet races. Both versions come lightweight and are made with top quality polycarbonate.
