Schumacher Cougar KC 2WD buggy kit

Following last week’s introduction of the Cougar KD, UK company Schumacher now also released information on the Cougar KC, a purpose designed buggy for high-grip astroturf and carpet tracks. The buggy is designed primarily for modern carpet and astro surfaces, offering the driver four different motor layout positions with multiple battery types and fitting options. Available are two mid motor layouts with rear mounted battery and also two mid/rear motor designs with the battery mounted in front of the motor, allowing to adapt the buggy for all types of tracks, tight and twisty or open and flowing. All the parts required for all the layouts are included as standard in the kit and it incorporates prototype features, used recently by Michal Orlowski to convincingly win the EOS in Poland and the 2017 DHI Cup. The buggy makes use of the same versatile chassis as the KD, it comes with a 3-gear opposite motor rotation transmission, a low rotating mass gear differential, new suspension geometry and a sleek, shark fin bodyshell. The Cougar KC will hit stores in February.
