Schumacher Mi5evo double joint driveshafts

Schumacher Mi5evo double joint driveshafts

Schumacher have new double joint driveshafts for the Mi5evo and super high quality Pro ball bearings available. The driveshafts are made from super tough spring steel and are a replacement for the old G884 driveshafts. The new design is much stronger, less likely to bend or break in a hefty impact and is of a higher quality. The shafts also come with new high quality inner Pro ball bearings which are 3mm in width rather than the standard 4mm to allow the centre of the drive shaft to sit further into the hub carrier and as close as possible to the steering pivot, for maximum efficiency. The bearings have a larger diameter for more strength which means they need to be used with the new modified hub carriers which are supplied.

Schumacher Cat K1 Aero forward motor conversion

Schumacher Cat K1 Aero forward motor conversion

Schumacher introduce a forward motor conversion for the CAT K1 Aero 4WD buggy. It is to be used on very high-traction surfaces such as high-bite astro and carpet to improve the cars response and laptimes. The conversion shifts the motor 18mm further forward, this allows the use of shorty batteries as well as standard saddle packs and it enables the electronics to be in a much neater and tighter cluster, giving better chassis balance. The steering mounting system has changed with the steering now mounted from the new thicker 3mm top deck. This also incorporates new camber link positions, which also can improve the car on high grip surfaces. With the steering mounted off the now 2.5mm chassis it allows room for the use of a fan to cool the motor in high load conditions.
