Schumacher have announced the addition of top UK driver, Phil Sleigh to their team. Phil is joining up with the team to race Schumacher 1/10th buggies and also LC Racing micro buggies. Phil will bring a depth of experience to the team being multiple BRCA Micro Champion and BRCA 1/10th buggy National winner. He will be competing at all 1/10th UK Nationals, Mid West Regionals and all Micro Nationals.

Schumacher have announced the release of two new Speed Secret option parts for the Cat K2 4WD buggy. First up is the new 2.0mm alloy chassis that gives the car increased flex for a more forgiving and compliant feel. The chassis is 36 grams lighter than the standard kit item, made from high-quality 7075 alloy and hard-anodised in black. The chassis is a direct fit and suitable for the majority of track conditions.
Schumacher have announced the signing of German frontrunner, Christopher Krapp to their off-road race team. Although better known for touring cars, Christopher is also a World class off-road driver, having achieved podium finishes at the EOS and also German Nationals. Christopher will be competing in both 2WD and 4WD classes and he is sure to add great strength to the team and Schumacher looks forward to having him on board. Christopher had this to say:

Schumacher have introduced new 2.5mm carbon fibre rear topdecks for the Cat K2 buggy. At 2.5mm the topdecks are more flexible and reduce the overall chassis stiffness. This achieves better traction for the rear of the car as well as better high-speed bump handling. Included come left and right topdeck halves with the parts being direct replacements for the stock braces.

Schumacher have introduced new aluminium spring seats for the company’s off-road vehicles such as the Cat K2 and Cougar KF2. The new alloy spring cups fit both small and big bore shocks, they offer 1mm more up travel over the standard kit spring seat and allow for better spring retaining, preventing a loss of the seats over large jumps and bumps.

From Schumacher and made for the Mi6 touring car comes an adjustable LiPo mounting set. Fully adjustable battery retainers allow the battery position to be moved forwards, backwards, left and right while also completely eliminating any battery play on the chassis. The set offers the ability to achieve a perfectly left/right balanced car with all battery weights, in addition to the possibility of adjusting the weight distribution of the Mi6. The battery tape also no longer runs underneath the chassis, making it more user-friendly when checking for chassis tweak. The set fits the Mi6, Mi5Evo and Mi5.
