Shepherd Velox V8 WC 1/8th nitro on-road kit

After an extensive development and testing phase Shepherd have announced the release the Velox V8 WC 1/8th nitro on-road car kit. Made to honour the 2015 World Championship title of Simon Kurzbuch the Velox V8 WC features state-of-the-art technologies as well as proven design features. The included 0.8 module gearbox Simon used in prototype stages at the Worlds in Brazil is now available in a refined version and it saves about 20 percent of weight compared to its predecessor, improving the car’s acceleration significantly.

Shepherd Velox F1 high rear wing mount

Shepherd have announced the latest option part for the Velox F1 in the form of the high rear wing mount. This new option part is especially developed for low grip conditions and allows for a much higher mounting position of the rear wing compared to the standard part. The result is improved downforce and rear stability. The mount is made from high-quality carbon fibre material and it is available from now on.

Shepherd introduce new Euro & World Champs shirt

Hot on the heels of their black/grey hooded sweater Shepherd have introduced the new “European and World Champions” T-shirt. Sporting a newly designed print on the front and the well-known Shepherd logos on the back the black 100 percent cotton shirt is available in XS to 4XL sizes from now on.

Shepherd Velox F1 aluminium caster inserts

Coming from Shepherd and made for the Velox F1 kit are aluminium caster inserts. Available as flippable 3 degree/12 degree or 6 degree/9 degree variant the inserts are made from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium to replace the standard composite parts for cooler looking and even more precise items. The sets include three pieces of each type and they are available in blue or black colour from now on.

Shepherd Velox V10 Low-Flex set

Shepherd have introduced the new Low-Flex set for the Velox V10 1/10th 200mm nitro on-road car. Already part of the WC Edition update kit the parts were designed to reduce the flex of the chassis’ rear end and they are now also available as the separate Low-Flex set. The backbone of the kit is the 3mm carbon brace that stiffens up the rear end of the car significantly, making the car easier and more precise to drive. The set includes the rear end carbon stiffener, modified rear bulkheads with ball bearing inserts, as well as several hardware parts and it is available in traditional blue anodising or in black colour to fit the Black Edition kits. Owner of older kits additionally need the updated rear bulkheads #402221 to make use of this latest accessory.

Shepherd Velox V10 "WC" 3mm carbon radio plate

Hot on the heels of Shepherd’s Velox V10 WC upgrade kit comes the new 3mm WC carbon fibre radio plate. The new optional upper chassis plate is made using an extra stiff 3mm carbon material to reduce the overall flex of the car, resulting in an even more precise handling especially under high-grip conditions. Furthermore it is more resistant against crashes. Sporting the same design as the “WC” radio plate with different positions for the servo saver and the steering servo it is necessary to use the new #408142 servo saver bushing and a 5x8x2,5mm ball bearing to mount the part.

Shepherd Velox V10 "WC" upgrade set

Shepherd have released the new Velox V10 “WC” upgrade parts set which were successfully developed and tested by the company’s top team drivers during the last few months. The upgrade parts were used by the Shepherd team at the recent World Championships in Italy with Simon Kurzbuch taking the second place after the qualifiers and an overall third place in the final. Included in the set are several redesigned parts such as the new front end with a different diff position that gives more overall steering and different position for the servo saver and steering servo while the rear carbon stiffener makes the car easier and more precise to drive. Also include is a new chassis plate, modified front uprights, as well as new gearbox bulkheads and more.

Shepherd black/grey hooded sweater

Shepherd have announced the release of their latest merchandise in the form of the black/grey hooded sweater. It is made from high quality 80 percent cotton and 20 percent polyester material and shows the new Shepherd “European and World Champions” print on the front side and the well known Shepherd logo on the back. Furthermore the new hoodie comes with a kangaroo pouch pocket with small hidden openings for earphone cords as well as hidden ear phone loops in the hood. Coming in sizes of XS to 3XL the new hoodies are available from now on.
