Shepherd Velox 2009 Chassis plate

Team Shepherd have announced the release of the new 2009 chassis plate for the Velox. It features a cutout in the front into which an additional 30g weight can be mounted as well as 4 holes on the sides for an additional 70g of weight. By mounting up to 100g on the very bottom of the chassis the centre of gravity is much lower and the performance is increased. It is highly recommended to use the new chassis with the 30g front weight as it increases the stability of the chassis.

Team Shepherd low-friction belts

Team Shepherd has extended their product range with the launch of two new low-friction rubber belts for the front and the rear axles of its successful Velox 1:8 onroad car. The new belts are much softer and more flexible than the standard versions and allow the drive train to run more freely. This ensures that the engine power is efficiently transfered into speed. Although the softer belts wear faster, the extra power and decreased fuel consumption offers racers that little extra advantage.
