Shepherd Velox V10 Nineteen upgrade set

Shepherd have introduced the Nineteen upgrade set for their successful Velox V10 1/10th 200mm nitro on-road kit. Coming just in time for the IMFAR 1/10th Nitro On-road World Championships in Miami, the set contains new rear lower wishbones, new hinge pin brackets as well as a new rear upper arm mount. The updated hinge pin position makes the Velox V10 turn-in faster without loosing traction while a higher overall cornering speed is achieved. The hinge pin brackets are made of high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium with blue or black anodising finish while the upper arm mount his milled from high-quality carbon fibre material. The lower wishbones have been completely redesigned to fit the updated geometry and are moulded from premium composite material. They are also available as a hard version with additional glas fibre to better suit hot conditions. The set fits current and older spec V10 kits and they are also available separately for spares or repair.

Fenix X Series aluminium formula pan car main chassis

Available now from Fenix Racing are their new X Series aluminium main chassis plates for a range of popular 1/10th formula cars. Offering a 10mm longer wheelbase the 2mm chassis are made of 7075-T6 alloy and they feature a very marry design for minimal scrubbing during cornering. The chassis are available for the Fenix Mistral, Shepherd Velox and Xray X1 kits and they include a hardware kit making them a direct fit.

Shepherd Velox V8 low-friction drive belts

Shepherd have announced the release of their new low-friction drive belts for the Velox V8 1/8th on-road kits. Available as 210mm front, 435mm centre, and 201mm rear belt, the parts will significantly lower the drivetrain drag for improved acceleration, top speed and mileage. The super-soft belts are available from now on.

Shepherd Velox V8 2.4mm & 2.8mm swaybars

In order to further fine-tune the handling characteristics of their Velox V8 on-road car, Shepherd have introduced two new swaybar thicknesses. Adding to the already available 2.2mm, 2.6mm and 3.0mm variants are 2.4mm and 2.8mm wires. They are usable on both the front and rear end of the car and are available separately from now on.

Shepherd introduce new 1/8 & 1/10 foam tyres

Shepherd have announced their new range of foam tyres for 1/8 and 1/10 on-road cars. The new double spoke rims for 1/8th scale cars as well as the Star rims for 1/10th scale kits are made from premium-quality black composite material with a high amount of carbon making the rims very stiff, strong and ultra true running. The high quality foam ensures best performance under various track conditions and the tyres are coming in different hardnesses from 32 to 42 shore and as a special super soft “wet” variant.

Brilliant RC have introduced new black and natural finish titanium screws. All fasteners are made of high-grade titanium for a low weight and exceptional durability with the black-finish screws making for an extraordinary look. The hardware is available in packs of eight pieces and as 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm or 12mm button head as well as 6mm, 8mm, 10mm and 12mm countersunk screws. Shepherd Mod 1 20T & 21T pinion gears

Shepherd have introduced new module 1 pinion gears in order to offer a wider gearing range for their Velox E8 1/8th electric on-road kit. The gears are machined from high-quality burnished steel and they come with size engraving for easy identification. Both the 20T and 21T pinion gear are available now.

Shepherd Velox F1 aluminium rear axle

Coming from Shepherd and made for the Velox F1 formula pan car is an aluminium rear axle shaft. It is machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and it scrubs about 50 percent of weight compared to the kit’s steel axle. A hard-coated surfaces ensures exceptional durability. The option part is available from now on.
