DJ Apolaro signs with Spektrum

DJ Apolaro signs with Spektrum

Spektrum signs National Champion and recent winner of the 2013 Winternats, DJ Apolaro to use all Spektrum products for the 2013 year. Having tested the radio and servos at the recent U.S. Open Fuel Championship, Apolaro was very pleased with the results, taking the TQ and Win. This is what DJ has to say about the deal:

First I would like to thank Craig Kaplan at Hobby People/Airtronic’s for their support over the past few years. We had great success together and they are a great group of people. I now look forward to my new venture with Horizon and Spektrum. Having tested the products at the Open Race and feeling very connected with the equipment was great. I want to thank Sonny Brown at Horizon for the opportunity and look forward to showing just how great the Spektrum products are. This weekend it was very easy to use the new radio with the simplified menu. That combined with the very precise servos was just awesome.

Grid RC DX3R drop down adapter V2

Team Grid DX3R drop down adapter V2

Having already shipped its first drop-down adapter for the Spektrum DX3R transmitter, which gave much improved ergonomics by bringing the steering wheel in-line with the throttle trigger, Grid RC have released this second version. For 2011 they decided to mill the drop-down from a single aluminium billet instead of the two-piece version produced in 2010, the result is a lower weight of 38 grams, which is 10 grams lighter.
