T-Works Progressive Damping System for 1/8 GT cars

T-Works have introduced the Progressive Damping System for the Mugen MGT7 and Serpent Cobra GT 1/8th on-road cars. Making use of a common design, the system utilises bushings with triangular-shaped openings as well as plain pistons. The bushings are inserted into the standard shock housings and the plain pistons are used in place of the drilled standard ones while the triangular openings in the tubes allowing the oil to bypass the piston on compression. With ongoing compression the opening above the piston becomes smaller, resulting in a progressive, harder dampening that can lead to faster corner speeds and improved stability. The set includes four bushings and four plain pistons.

T-Works BD7 titanium king pin screws

T-Works have introduced a set of titanium king pin screws for the Yokomo BD7-2015 and 2016 cars. Machined from the same lightweight yet rigid titanium material as T-Works’ screws and turnbuckles the parts help to scrub some unsprung weight on the front suspension for improved suspension efficiency and performance.

Adapting a common design that is popular especially when racing on asphalt tracks, the system utilises bushings with triangular-shaped openings as well as plain pistons. The bushings are inserted into the shock housings and the plain pistons are used in place for the drilled standard ones while the triangular openings in the tubes allowing the oil to bypass the piston on compression. With ongoing compression the opening above the piston becomes smaller, resulting in a progressive, harder dampening that can lead to faster corner speeds and improved stability. Included in each set are four bushings and four plain pistons and the system is available for the HPI Pro5, Xray T4’16 as well as the Yokomo BD7-2015 and BD7-2016.

T-Works YZ-4 titanium turnbuckle sets

Coming from T-Works and made for the Yokomo YZ-4 buggy are two titanium turnbuckle sets. Available as hybrid and traditional 1-piece variant the parts, made from the same high-quality material as T-Works’ titanium screws, scrub some weight while adding rigidity and visual impact. Included comes a suitable 4mm turnbuckle wrench.

T-Works titanium pan car wheel hub screws

Coming from T-Works and made for 1/12th pan cars such as the Xray X12 and the Serpent S120 is a set of M3 rear wheel hub screws. Made from high-quality titanium and machined to a very low weight the screws are designed to securely bolt the rear wheels to the wheel hubs, adding the lowest amount of weight possible. Included with the 6-piece set is a suitable Allen wrench.

T-Works B5 titanium shock standoffs

T-Works have titanium shock standoffs for Team Associated’s fifth generation 1/10th off-road vehicles available. Made from the same material as T-Works’ screws and turnbuckles the standoffs are of a multi-piece design that does away with the need to use the standard composite shock bushings. Included in the set, that is usable with the B5, T5 and SC5 kits, are the standoffs, four mounting screws as well as suitable self-locking nuts.

T-Works T4'15 titanium ball end set

T-Works now have a titanium ball end set for the Xray T4’15 touring car available. Made from the same material as T-Works’ screws and turnbuckles the 20-piece set will scrub some weight while adding visual impact and durability at the same time.

T-Works B5-series brass kingpin bushings

T-Works have introduced brass kingpin bushing sets for Team Associated’s fifth generation 1/10th off-road vehicles such as the B5 and T5. The parts help to alter the roll centre settings and also add unsprung weight which can be beneficial at certain track conditions. Available are a 4-piece standard, a 4-piece offset and an 8-piece “complete” set for the B5, T5 and SC5.
