RSD TC6.2 8-piece spring set

Reflex Racing introduce the RSD TC6.2 spring set for Team Associated’s latest electric touring car. Containing four different rates of 13.0, 14.0, 15.0 and 16.0 lbs the set is designed to cover the needs of carpet and asphalt racing alike without being too complicated. The springs are made from optimised diameter spring steel, 25mm long and they offer an oversize diameter of 13.5mm. They are meant to provide better bump compliance, more corner speed, a smoother feel and better fitment. Black of colour the springs are colour-coded for easy identification and the set is available now.

Pro-Line Phantom B44.2 & B5 bodyshells

Pro-Line’s Phantom design bodyshell, originally designed for the Tamiya 201 and Kyosho RB6, soon is also available for the Team Associated B44.2 and B5 buggies. Sculptured using the ideas of Pro-Line driver Lee Martin the bodies sport a unique design featuring a stealthy cab forward look and sweeping body lines that flow back to a single point. The optional centre fin adds additional high speed stability and the bodies are available soon for the B44.2 and B5 rear motor buggy.

Exotek B5 Flite LiPo mounting strap

Exotek now have this carbon fibre mounting strap for the Team Associated B5 buggy available. The “Flite” weighs in at only 6.5g and is therefore almost 4g lighter than the stock part. Added rigidity makes for a secure battery mounting while the design and material used underline the cool factory look.

Niclas Mansson joins Team Associated & Reedy

Following Jesper Rasmussen and Joakim Nicolaisen Team Associated announce the signing of another up and coming Scandinavian talent in the form of Niclas Mansson from Sweden. Niclas is a long standing and loyal Team Associated driver and has committed to the team for 2014. “Mr. Nice” will help spearhead the younger members of the team and brings with him a wealth of experience. Niclas is a well respected, meticulous and likeable young man with exceptional car preparation. This is what Niclas has to say about the deal:

I’ve raced the Team Associated products for many years now and it’s fantastic for me to be part of the Scandinavian team. I’m so excited and cant wait to get my hands on the new cars and have a fantastic summer. Everybody in the team are pumped up and can’t wait to get racing together. Its a fantastic opportunity for me and the rest of the Scandinavian guys to join the team and race the products that are very universal for the tracks here in Europe. I’m really happy with the team set-up and the positive feeling everybody has within the team. Using the Reedy products will also be a huge asset for me when attending some of the large races. My testing so far has been very positive. I’m excited to get started and get myself prepared for the 2014 season. It started off well at the DHI cup and I hope my success continues. PSM B5/B5M front shock tower

PSM introduce two new option parts for the Team Associated B5 and the forthcoming B5M in the form of these carbon fibre shock towers. Coming as “standard” V1 and “pro-tune” V2 version the shock stays are CNC-machined from 5mm glossy finish carbon fibre, they are of an impact-proven design and sport two (V1) and five (V2) optional upper camber link mounting positions for added adjustability. Included with the shock towers comes suitable hardware.

RudeBits B5 LiPo battery holder

RudeBits introduce this optional LiPo battery holder for the Team Associated B5 buggy. Made from high-quality carbon fibre the mount replaces the kit’s composite brace with a cooler looking and more rigid part. The LiPo hold down is useable with the rear motor B5 and all relevant battery configurations.

Team Associated Factory Team tools & B5 options

Team Associated introduce two new Factory Team tools as well as optional heavy-duty ballstuds for the B5 and B5M buggy. Starting with the tools, available soon are a T-handle 7mm nut driver and a 5.5mm short nut driver. The 7mm wrench is designed for wheel nuts and other 7mm applications while the 5.5mm driver is ideally used for shock nuts and the like. Both tools come hard-anodized and with laser-etched size markings.
